Overlord is really AMAZING. No regrets returning the faulty TLK Leader Megs for that one.

I now have a new Holy Grail to get. G1 Overlord. I thought G1 Scorponok was expensive at 400$. A 100% complete overlord is 700$ at the base minimum!

Hehe. Reminds me of the first Auto Assembly after Last Stand of the Wreckers came out. One of the stalls had loads of G1 Overlord toys in various states. It was dubbed Overlord Mountain by the attendees. Was a thing of beauty.

Carnifex, I think, would work fine for your height needs.

Personally though I think I'd go for this Overlord. Seems good enough to me.

Say, any of you locating the 2 Decepticon Targetmasters? (Slugslinger/Misfire)
I can only seen Misfire yet on TRU.

Overlord looks pretty great, and yet...I find myself wanting Sky/Black Shadow more. I mean, I have very little attachment to either character, but the fact Carnifex exists and is (from what I'm told) absolutely incredible makes me think IF an Overlord is ever something I feel I need that I'll save my cash up for him. The mold itself looks great though and I fancy owning it in some form, plus Sky Shadow will be cheaper, so...

Still, Overlord does look great.

I just wish Eject and Frenzy will come on the next prime series

It looks like someone's trying to break a toy. If that's all they can think of to do with them, then maybe they should hold raffles. To say something that's on topic with this thread, I believe I saw the Deluxe class Transformer that turns into an alligator or something at Target.

Sadly, I think that Overlord will be one of the MANY leader figures that will never appear in stores nearby where my minions must search. We never saw SixShot in stores, nor did we ever see Sky Shadow. It seems like the distributors deliberately chose to NOT send any near our realms, reducing us to looking online, where the prices are sky-high. There has been no sign of them on HasbroToyStore. SixShot sold out in record time, was quickly listed 'out of stock', was subsequently taken down months ago, and has not re-appeared.

I haven't priced Original Series Transformers in a long time, but alas I have Owned Overlord at two different times in the past. I had the European release first. I sold that and got the Japanese release and had it for a while before selling my entire collection back in 2007...

I was just curious if you were specifically looking at the Japanese D-307, or the European release? -The toy is the same for both, its just the Box and instructions/inserts that are different....For some reason the European one was always a bit less expensive, but that may not be the case now.

These seem to be reappearing as the Voyager Prime & Megatron are. I've seen both Sixshot and Skyshadow at my local TRU in the past couple of weeks.

as I'd hoped...with no new TR coming out (sans Slugslinger), I figure most figures will be reissued between now and the holiday before PotP is released.

Well I got notice yesterday that Blitzwing and Octane came in, so my shipment of the Siege set and Blitzwing and Octone will be here by week's end.

Therefore, my TR collection is now only missing:

Ramhorn, Slugslinger, Clouraker, Wingspan, and Arcee w/ UM. Considering LG-42 appears to be sold out everywhere, I won't be getting him any time soon, sadly.

I think Ramhorn might be the hardest one to get, because he was shipped with 3 other repacked figures, no retailer seems to want to separate him out, unless you want to pay $15 for him!

Well, not if you used the $4 shipping. BBTS is in Wisconsin and I'm near Chicago. My PoL shipped last Thursday and is scheduled to arrive this Thursday. In my case, the $4 shipping means it goes from Wisconsin, to St. Paul, MN, to Champaign, IL to Indiannapolis, IN, where it will eventually be transferred to the USPS for final delivery.

Nice, mine are usually about 4 days as well, but that is from time of shipping. My most recent order sat in "processing" for 4 days before they even shipped it, then a week for the actual shipping.

Let's not forget the Skids flashback where Tarn tricked him into slowly melting a bunch of Autobot prisoners; talking about how he doesn't believe in a Heaven but he does believe "Hell exists" while making Skids watch.

This franchise's tone has really gone far since the days of Optimus Prime playing basketball with Spike.

I think Last Stand of the Wreckers is where this series changed for me. It stopped being a fun, childish comic and suddenly became a serious and dark world whith a smiley face painted over it.
