since we're talking about it, I'll slap this one here.
P.S. Will I definitely see it in the forearms now.
That Abominus was confirmed to be a fanmade fake. The Fort Max pic is from Hasbro itself.Starsaber468 wrote:Yeah this thing is probably a mock-up like that combiner wars abodimus though fort max does have metroplexs lower arms

Those are Seibertron's photos from a banner put by Hasbro at Botcon.Starsaber468 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:That Abominus was confirmed to be a fanmade fake. But hasbro never posted it....

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
The pic that Cobo posted is a photo taken of a banner from Hasbro's booth at BotCon this year. It was put on display by mistake when they intended to use a Combiner Wars background instead.Starsaber468 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:That Abominus was confirmed to be a fanmade fake. Maybe I'm just being stubborn. I just want this to be new. I'll drop it for now, until we get new bigger, better pics. Which I am excited to see.
He still looks real cool, and at least he has guns on his knees!![]()
Lets just say it this way:
Similar details on both Metroplex and Fort Max: coincidence, I think not

Then why did you quote Cobo's pic when you were referring to the other pic? That confused both me and Cobo.Starsaber468 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The pic that Cobo posted is a photo taken of a banner from Hasbro's booth at BotCon this year. Sabrblade I know that was an offical reveal and that we are getting a fort max plus I am talking about that fortress maximus tiy reveal which probably is fake

In any case, I am curious to pursue the discussion of what is a retool and what is a new toy.
Do you consider the two below different toys from oneanother or retools or reshells:
Transformers Cybertron Dark Crumplezone (Arm Bullet) Gallery
Transformers Masterpiece Starscream (MP-11) Gallery
Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Streetwise Gallery

Cobotron wrote:I have spent way too much time today comparing the pictures, but I would like to go on record as saying that, the only thing I see on Fort Max that is identical to Metroplex, is the forearms. All the other anatomy my share the same dimensions and basic shapes, but they have all been re-tooled with new detailing.
So as I said in an earlier post "at least 80% a new toy".
That wasn't aimed at specifically you. Just a lot of "this is the same", "that is the same" going on. There is no denying now that he is a retool (if that picture is indeed real). I'm just relieved a bit that he is not a slight retool or even worse a re-paint. If they put some serious re-working into him, I remain interested.william-james88 wrote:Cobotron wrote:I have spent way too much time today comparing the pictures, but I would like to go on record as saying that, the only thing I see on Fort Max that is identical to Metroplex, is the forearms. And I would like to go on record to put forth that I never said the opposite. I just said he was a retool and that is indeed what he is.
Since I like different molds, I might end up with an arrangement that looks like this instead:

...and I'm confused. You are going to set up your living room like Kanrabat's?![]()
