So here are my thoughts: its a cool idea, but we are already living it partly (yay!) and the third line would be more about gimicks than alt modes.

A beast-centred line would be my dream. Beast Wars? Dinobots? The rest of the Combiners (or at least just Predaking)? Pretenders updated in a similar style to ROTF Bludgeon? Bring it on!

Yeah overall I would totally dig it... I don't see myself buying all of any line, but with one that's beast-centered, I'd easily buy most of it.
I wasn't specific enough before. I guess I meant how realistic do you think this is??
Imo, with all of the characters that are due for updating, filling out a decent line is by no means a stretch. Surely a few of the Predacons and Terrorcons could share some molding. And yeah, scaling would be way off, but the same applies to a Dinobot combiner.
Now, ideally, I'd like all of those guys to be at least voyager class. But that's pretty unlikely unless they only release a couple.

The only problem is, and I know I've said this a ton before... what gimmick could they actually do? Combiners and Headmasters are taken up, Powermasters are likely too similar to Headmasters (and they kind of had their main players of PM OP and Getaway taken by TR), Targetmasters also had their guys (1986 Autobot Cars, Scourge, Triggerhappy and very likely more to come) taken, I kinda doubt they'd do Action Masters, I have no clue how they'd do Micromasters, and Pretenders are both unpopular and with the current business model likely completely unviable.
Way I see it there'll either be a completely new gimmick, they'll go back to combiners or they'll go without.

Or hey, maybe we'll finally see the glorious return of the ROTOR FORCE

Haha... Again, good points. I guess my only rebuttal is how many more gimmicks are they going to throw at us? Also as I just mentioned in another post, there are still plenty of other beast characters who are due for updating.
It may be nice and almost refreshing to get a line of just solid figures, without gimmicks (minus a couple combiners).
For the most part, aren't the beast/monsters we're seeing originally headmaster characters??

If not I hope that Overlord's Titan Master is IDW-based, and that they release a separate Titan Master (in the Titan Master class) modeled after Masterforce's Mega with the Masterforce face. I think it'd work out since the Masterforce face is pretty generic with all the detail coming from the Leader's helmet.

Maybe an angry expression and an even angrier expression? Iurc in Masterforce, Overlord when his two Godmasters died had an even more menacing look.

Not really here are the beast/monsters made with these TR molds from across different companies (both confirmed and not confirmed) that were/are not headmasters:

Laserbeak
Ravage
Stripes
Alpha Trion/Lio Convoy
Double Cross
Repugnus
ConvoBat
Krok
Carnivac
Grotusque
Trypticon
Deathsaurus
Blood
Pounce
Wingspan

As you can see, this line is releasing a ton of beasts and monsters.

I am thinking the 3rd gimick could be unlocked flip gimicks or such that only come out when inserting something. Thats a gimick that hasnt been used. The pretenders seem to be handled in TR anyway.

Of course, it can also be Beast Wars again, but that would in no way fit with whoever the titan coming out will be. I would be all for another thrilling 30 line where everything gets revisited and updated simultaneously.

Just saying this line has a potential for a bunch of beast formers and I was clear that not everything was confirmed. Plus the part of Krok that did transform was a beast. I dont see how its all that different to how they combine designs of pretenders and inner roots (where one is a non transforming component while the other is), which is something you seemed to like.

Just to be clear, I do think we'll get Scorponok and Omega Supreme, I just don't necessarily think they'll be our next two.

That goes for most Transformers at any scale. Just because we had those three particular characters in the poll doesn't mean they're the only titans they were working on at the time. It makes sense to build a poll around them since they all have rivals already prepared in Titan Class. There's also potential for Unicron and Primus, both of which I could see being major players in the Prime Wars story in the future. It's not impossible that they already knew at the time of the poll exactly who they intend to use as the 2018 and 2019 Titans, but wanted fans to fill the gap for 2017 with Scorponok and Omega not coming until 2020 and 2021.

We just don't know what Hasbro is planning.

Well, and for the average TF fan like myself, the mass majority of the characters on that list are relatively obscure. Especially compared to the Dinobots, Predacons, and the BW characters.
Definitely not meaning to argue here.
In the grand scheme, I still think a full line of beastformers is pretty unlikely, even though it seems more than possible.
I don't want to carry this convo on too much, because I know there are people who hate discussions that are based on speculation.
But I'll say this real quick-- it will personally be a sad day when speculating is no longer exciting for me... Because that means TF have reached the point where so much has been released that there's not much at all to look forward to.

That was Krok's partner though, a completely different guy.
And in the case of the pretenders... the guy inside did transform. Carnivac still turned into a wolf, just a robotic one compared to the organic one of his inner shell.

In any case combining Pretenders' shell aspects with the inner robot is a different case, as both shell and robot are the character; at most the shell is their accessory. In the case of the Action Masters' partners... it's the same basic concept as the current RiD 2015 Mini-Con Weaponizer packs. Sawtooth isn't a part of Strongarm, he's her partner. Gatoraider isn't a part of Krok, he's his partner.
