Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

I would have to disagree, in that I feel that pretty much all of those changes seem mostly superficial, with the exception of the larger Autobot symbols on the trailer/legs looking more garish and gaudy compared to Super Ginrai's smaller ones that look more subtle and less in-your-face about themselves.kurthy wrote:Hasbro superior, Takara inferior.

I guess mine didn't get painted, they're silver.Could be a good opportunity to paint them I suppose, I did want him to have red eyes after all.

Personally I like the look of Magnus Prime a little better, but I'm not all that attached to Ginrai's specific look anyway so I'm not bothered by the 'inaccuracies' on the Hb one. I particularly appreciate that extra little red detail that MP has on the back of the trailer: it seems tie the whole thing together just a little better, and stops it from looking quite so much like a red trailer-front smashed onto an otherwise gray trailer as the LG version does.Overcracker wrote:A agree. I don't have it yet, but there have been pictures of the combined mode on this site, so yes.

Magnus Prime seemed to have good, tight joints, pretty much on par with my Super Ginrai (which I will probably sell at this point). My main reason for concern with this was seeing how the Liokaiser box set turned out last year. The joints on the limbs of the planes & tanks felt so loose, due to overuse of the molds, I'm sure.seemed to get it right this time.

That's not the configuration that was "possible with the G1 toy".william-james88 wrote:Crosscheck wrote:Does anyone with Overlord know if he us able to transform into the combined vehicle form that was possible with the G1 toy?
Yup:

While I am glad to hear your Magnus Prime is tight and great, I am very surprised that he doesnt suffer from the other problems mine and others' share. Mine for instance has a major problem where his leg panels easily become undone in robot mode. It becomes a chore to pose him, not helped at all by the feet and useless heelspurs. So let me know if he is hard to pose and stand and if his legs dont have that issue. It's really making me hate the mold.
Plus, I saw that debate about which is better and I truly feel the deco differences are far from the issue here. The one thats better is the one which can stand properly and pose well. I havent handled the Takara one, but I make no hyperbole when I say that the Hasbro Magnus Prime is the worse toy from the Titans Return line.

In my case, the Takara one is extremely loose and falls over a lot, whereas I'm very happy with the tightness on the Siege version because he can easily support the weight of the armor and be posed.

So, just confirming, the trailer panels that wrap around his legs do not become undone when you play around with Magnus Prime?

I didn't say the trailer sides didn't come loose in bot mode. It just doesn't matter as much as the takara version because the joints are tighter. Neither Ginrai nor MP consistently keep the leg panels tabbed into the sides. For me, Ginrai is floppy as hell and MP is stable, it might be the opposite for others.
