Yeah, they're both pretty sad; Just wonder how much more walgreens charges for their exlcusives? Also wonder if bbts and the like will get any, and if so, how much more on top of the exclusive price might that be

pfft, with as little effort as they seemingly put into them (unfortunately ), I'm not sure why they would be surprised - at the very least the sdcc brainstorm does look glorious - but that sentinel is still so hard on the eye's, they really needed to even out the plastic choices for both versions, and that windblade is just so grossly accurate to the show, it comes off looking really horror movie-esque, but beyond that, it still looks off, it's really grey... and the fort max is a joke with an unpainted master sword taped to it;

Their exclusives are a serious let down, and a waste of opportunity, it comes down to 'lol master sword and unique faction'... maybe they should have just gone with the senate faction for the mainline release of sentinel, like they did with thundertron in prime, then they wouldn't have to give us a neon trans. orange one in this set

To be fair, the cases of a non-autobot non-decepticon factions are a little different. Thundertron had an awesome turqoise skull and crossbones faction symbol that said he was king of the ****' pirates. Sentinel's... is some lines that says he's in politics. One of those is a little easier to market to kids; see if you can guess which one.

What they could have done instead though was include a Senate sticker like they included an Autobot sticker with Leader Megatron. Talking of which, I hope they do the same thing for whenever we next get a Generations Thundercracker toy.

But... yeah, really disappointing. They could have gone with something like Grand Maximus or the RiD 2001 colouring or something for Fort Max. They could go with things like Marvel redecoes for characters like Galvatron II. Those are things that appeal to a smaller crowd generally made up of older fans and hence are things perfect for an exclusive. Instead we end up with things that people sort of kind of want, but they're too expensive, they're shoddily done, and there are better ways to get them.

Because until now their cover story was that the only way to get Brainstorm to complete our Titans Return Headmasters is by buying the SDCC set. Now that we know he's coming to Walgreens how many people that didn't want Windblade and Sentinel are no longer buying the set? I know I no longer will be.

Seriously - and I mean this legitimately - isn't sdcc the ultimate nerd-fest, to celebrate niche, and relatively obscure things from nerd culture? Wouldn't Grand Maximus, or RiD fort max - or any of the other even more obscure recolors - fit in there perfectly? And the sword could be the icing on the cake, to really make it feel special, befitting the title of: "SDCC Exclusive of 2016"? Just like last year, wouldn't the orange or yellow, or even diaclone multi-colored devs fit in there better than a haphazardly chromed devs re-issue? This is just... pathetic

Oh, yeah, that's really dirty (unless this falls into the category of 'not being able to disclose that at this time - conveniently - because of reasons') this will definitely make any interest left in that set disappear, shame they put more effort into 'lying' about it, instead of making a set people would actually want and cherish

Yeah, there is something fishy here. For there to be individually packaged (and slightly different) Brainstorms, then they most definitely knew it would be an exclusive outside of SDCC when they said that SDCC was the only way to get him.

Sentinel's shows off the interaction of Infinitus with both Sentinel in vehicle mode, and his guns, which can combine to form a turret. Galvatron looks amazing but the crown sits just a bit too far back. Had it sit more flush it would look worlds better

Eh, while I agree that it should be painted I think the crown is necessary to make him look like Galvatron. Galvatron needs big purple horns that a standard headmaster couldn't achieve.

Is it just me or can Galvatron even turn his head? I mean the crowned head obviously.

On the other hand I'm starting to like Sentinel, even if I'm not terribly fond of Cybertronian modes or the way the Headmaster cockpit ruins the impression of sheer size.
