Mindmaster wrote:So after about a year of him being out, I finally decided to bite on getting Generations Legends Bumblebee after picking up Cliffjumper last week. He's... alright. Fell apart while getting him out of his (difficult) package, but after piecing him pack together, he's okay. I only got him to scale better with the Classics figures I have. Guess that means my Classics Deluxe is probably going to have to find a new home here soon... any thoughts?

So I got AOE Leader Grimlock from mom and with dad's B-Day cash, I bought deluxe AOE Drift and Lockdown, finally out at Wallmart!
Leader Grimlock is better than I tought, appart the too long dino chest. His bot mode is glorious and his transformation is very involved and intriguing. I had a very hard time figuring out how to place the bot feet between the dino chest and the rear legs. Things never wanted to fit. Then I gave up and looked at the instruction sheet. I was still completely stumped! After a good 10-15 minutes of diddling, the brilliant tought of checking page two of the instruction sheet finally crossed my mind. then I was shown that the bot chest (that was locked in pretty tightly), must be extended for the dino transformation. Oh, magic, the bot feets finally fit!

So here is another one:
This is for my young cousin who really likes constuct bots. I wrote all about it in the construct bot thread

Target is clearancing the Construcbots sets AOE Lockdown, Drift, and Optimus Prime. All for a ridiculous 7.50$ each! I obviously bought one of each.
Will, why dont you buy this trio and hold on to it to make a fine Xmass gift?

Ha! This Bulkhead was the christmas gift I was holding onto. I might get her another. How ridicuous is 7.50$? How much do they cost normally? Drift interests me most, he looks very cool with the extra armour. Also, is the Target exclusive constust bot silver optimus and grimlock a good deal? Because anything else in that 14.99 price range usually doesnt come with that many pieces
william-james88 wrote:I took Kanrabat's advice and found Dinobot warriors Lockdown at 7.50$ (the only set left)

I went ahead and got Tankor despite all the negativity about him. He's... better than I thought he'd be. My biggest thing is his size; definitely should've been a Voyager, even if they had kept the simpler engineering. Beyond that, he's better than I thought he'd be. I was also pleased to see that his wrist-mounted sawblades were capable of spinning.
