Transformation is tricky in chest area...kinda like MP BB x2 using only your pinky nail. I think bot mode chest is sexier on YF-19 (edit: really digging my VF-171, better bang for buck IMO), alt mode is way sexier on VF-171 (ton of detail).

Picked up CW Legends Rodimus today from Target. Makes me wish there were CW Legends versions of UM, Springer, Arcee, and Kup.

I don't know iron, I'm really liking my 171...it's like a MP Jetfire 5.1 or something. YF-29 on the other hand, my 171 still beats in paint apps, but I like that mold too!

Today was quite a haul! Both orders came quite fast after shipping was announced.

I present to you, Hasbro CW Devastator, TAV-21 Optimus Prime and TAV-23 Jazz!

I'll open them later this week because for now, it's hot like the 9 Circles of Hell and I don't have the energy to move... Still, I'm looking forward to try them out!

The Amiami box countaining TAV-21 and 23 was HUGE. And it cost a whopping 4000y of shipping. Still, there was no custom fees and the thing only took... 3 days to arrive!!!!

Did you ship EMS or SAL? I have MP G2 Bee on his way and it's been 4 days. I used SAL. Which was cheap as #@&* BTW.

SAL was 3850y.
EMS was 4000y.

For just a buck and a half of difference, I took EMS.

Nice hauls all around guys. I am impressed you didnt get customs slapping you K. I guess now we know that the idea is we can use EMS as long as it doesnt go over 100$ cdn for the declared items.

I got a haul too. Got 2 TRU Exclusive COTF RID Warriors for 9.99$ cdn (7.72$US) each!

Woot Woot! That's the sound of the police after me for such a steal!

I used Kanrabat's advice and since both were marked as 19.99 but scanning at 21.99$ (freaken bogus price that is), I took advantage of the pricing law and got them at 10$ off the advertized price and since they are 2 different bar codes, got that deal or both of them. They tried to trick me I could only get it for one, not happening. I will have some in hand pics in the RID thread soon.

Glad you could have used The Law at your advantage, Will! And that PW VS LT game will keep you busy and isolated like a monk for sure!

BTW, I openned TAV-21 Optimus and TAV-23 Jazz. Here's my thoughts:

Jazz is AWESOME! So much paint aps for the Takara version! For the price the Hasbro one go at retail, there is no excuse to not buy the superior Takara one. Also, he's fun. Great looking and a quick and easy transformation.

The big TAV-21 Optimus is amazing looking in bot mode and the inner gaps of his legs is amazingly not too apparent when posing. The truck mode could use some work, but it's nice overall and that trailer is perfect for a deluxe car. It even have a

changing gimmick if you don't want to see the special aps symbol. However, HE'S NOT FUN TO TRANSFORM. The principle is simple, but in execution, it's finnicky fest. Panels tabs and untabs all the time and you have to place the legs at the perfect angle or you're in for a confusing long time. That optimus if really not the toy you will transform back-and-forth often. Get it for the great bot mode and extra weapons only.

Thanks for the feedback. I picked SAL for the same haul at the very same time just in fear of taxes (it might onl be a buck and half, but it could also be 25$ extra if they catch you). But now I know it is the value and not the shipping method they look at. Good to know as I experiment with international shipping. And while you are not fond of Optimus' transformation I am happy to see it is a real competent advanced transformer. That warrior Optimus I picked up is a real letdown. So easy and bland to transform. The result isnt even any good since ou just see his legs right there making up the truck. And that sideswipe blows to pose but is actually an amazing transformation. That leg/foot transformation rivals any other foot design. You can tell there is some takara engineering in the background of even these simpler designs.
