Yeah, but I sold that first box of repaints for a nice and tidy profit on eBay.
As for the UW set, awhile back, I sold off my combiners in a (fortunately unnecessary) emergency sell off. I decided to get the best looking set to replace. It is seriously amazing how much of a difference Takara's simple paint apps make. Figures are much tighter than my CW figs were as well. Hasbro is really starting to take a dive in the QC department.

Yesterday i went to a small Con here in the Netherlands, and i came home with this.
The micromasters, the book and the 2 minifigures were bought by me. The candy bar was for shared 4th place in the drawing contest. The monopoly game was a lottery prize (even got 2 but gave one to a friend) and Trypticon was the First prize in the lottery.

A few Transformers things from two larger Mandarake orders. Basically I get some cheap stuff from their auctions (mostly non-Transformers stuff) and then pad the shipping with some cheap Transformers stuff I want from their store.
Anyway, I got some rather random stuff this time around.
TAV46 Team Bumblebee vs Thunderhoof set 1,500 JPY (US$13.75)
This set is so GOOD! For a little more than the price of two Hasbro Legion figures I got four superior Takara Tomy EX figures with better paint and no circle stickers. Check out Windblade's face paint!
Compared to Hasbro's monstrosity:

Alt modes are pretty excellent as well.
Definitely going to be grabbing the other sets sometime.
Transformers Go! G24 Samurai Team (BeCool) 800 JPY (US$7.33)
Go! May not have been a great exclusive line from Takara Tomy (many of the new figures are terrible!), but it was fun just the same. This set recreating the Samurai Team from existing BotShots (BeCool in Japan) molds (Barricade, Sentinel Prime, and Powerglide) are something I've wanted since they were announced, but couldn't justify the costs. At a little less than the price of a BotShots 3-pack I couldn't pass this up any longer.
Lastly, Transformers Gum DX Road Caesar 400 JPY (US$3.67) each
Missed them the first time around, I'll be grabbing more later.
I have a few more things coming soon.

Wow Wilcosu! Thats a heck of a door prize. Congrats!
And Emerje, that Windblade's paint IS nice. My Hasbro version just looks like a bird pooped on her.
Been trying to post this since Friday, but Photobucket has been a real jerk all weekend.
Anyway, thanks to the Siebertron front page and the nice user comments that followed the post, I got this guy for a nice price from HTS.

Really liking this figure. Reminds me of some fun old '80s Bandai toys I have, except with knees and elbows, and a nice Transformersy sculpt, of course.

Sorry for weird photo. It does sorta look like Sideswipe and Ratchet tried new looks and managed to pull twin sisters and settle down and have kids with them (including a moody teenager all in black)
So yeah.
Two Prime Beast Hunters Arcees.
Deluxe movie Ratchet in Red (i like this mold) with his mechtech gun.
Deluxe Sidearm Sideswipe in Blue/yellow with various decals referring bits of obscure TF history (i LOVE this mold. shame it's missing the guns... I need to get me a proper silver/red one again someday)
Cyberverse Commander Megatron in black unfortunately missing his lower arms but has his weapon he can't bloody hold. Shame cos I really like the toy otherwise.
Couple of different Bumblebees in that scale and old chubbygut Leadfoot
(non TF toys being Bart Simpson lego figure, some cool spacechick lego figure and Doctor Who Amy Pond lego-ish figure after having witnessed the Silence and forgotten about them)
There were a lot of RID toys there I passed on and unfortunately Leader class RotF Prime and Megatron who were missing parts (and oddly I seem really good at transforming RotF Prime even though it's been years since I tried and I never once attempted it with my Buster Prime I used to have)

I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool!
Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

No joke, no conniving tricks, $0.00 for one step barricade. And the cashier was more than happy to charge me that with 0 problems.

CURSE MY PLASTIC ADDICTION!

I gave in and bought TLK voyager Optimus. 40$CAN + TX is too expensive but I'll keep the receipt in case TrU make a surprise sale in the next 90 days. Still, it's an incredible figure. On par with HFTD Battle Blade Optimus. Not as complicated to transform, but very worthy of the leader... No... It's BETTER than the leader! Way less kibble, a better transformation, and a more compact backpack. Highly recommended.
The PEZ were an impulse purchase. First time in my life I bought PEZ. I'll keep them sealed for prosperity.
And in Walmart, I found some TLK Quick Changers! Those guys are ADORABLE. 4$ each is a reasonable price for blindbag figures and those things are cute and clever. A bit cheap on paint but oh well. I got Optimus, Grimlock, Bumblebee, and Blackout. Grimlock being my favorite of the bunch.

Yesterday's haul! The MP knickknacks continue with this MP10 flight stand, which I'm SO happy I didn't have to actually by an Asia MP10 to get, and my local TRU supplied the new RID's.

Yup, it's one sided thermal receipt paper. They will either turn completely back with too much heat or just fade into oblivion.-Kanrabat- wrote:Be mindful about where you store the receipts too. If you play the WJ88 game, I'd recommend a nice safe cool dry place to store them. If you keep receipts for tax or other important purposes I'd recommend scanning them.
I install/service POS printers and such
You can also scratch/rub the paper with something hard and leave marks on it. That's how we train people to put the paper in correctly if they don't know which side is which. You'd be surprised how many people put them in wrong and call about the printers being broken

Re: Transformers Toy haul thread
So I nabbed a couple of those Tiny Turbo Changers "blind" bags. They're ok for what they are and kinda dumb desk toy fun for $3 a pop.

They are not super blind bagged. There is a tiny window on the bottom of the back of the bag. With a combination of squeezing and checking the color through the peep hole I was able to nab the exact ones I wanted.

Nice molding and not bad paint apps considering. About as good as the main line
Starscream has a surprisingly good tampo on his back.
