Got my Siege set and Godbomber. My Godbomber came in good, though still has the issues others talked about. But the combined mode is brilliant! I do love God Magnus!

But for me, the only dud of the set is Pounce. He is awful save for some nice paint work. Everything else nails it.

Mine was actually good. The paint work is the one real redeeming factor

this has really been a month of Transformers, after going nearly 2 months between getting anything other than a few legions. i will post about this in the TLK thread, but Nitro Zeus may be figure of the year. All 4 of the wave 2 and 3 voyagers are amazing and beat any Titans return figure (including Topspin) in my eyes, but Nitro is super addictive. And he will go perfectly with Thunderwing considering his titan master cockpit is usable in robot mode.. as the base of his BFG on his right arm!

And as for leader Megs, I think you guys got some bad ones. Mine is fantastic and heavy. He beats Jetfire and Magnus, and he's a jet so he needs to be a little lighter like Jetfire

Really? I found them to be amazing figures, and that voyager Megatron is the best of the Mega-gang!

Yeah, the good reviews are why I got them, but I dunno..... they just seem like toys to me, and that isn't the feeling I normally get with transformers.

I got TR Twin Twist and Windblade yesterday.

I'd written up this nice long essay about why I hate the Windblade character, and how I was going to get TR Windblade but decided "what the hell" and then was blown away by the figure ... but I some how managed to lose the post.

Yes, the goddamn Forum Admin lost one of his own posts. I **** rock.

So many poses she can do. Expect a few pictures this weekend.

Curses, I knew I should have bought that Windblade at TFNation. Oh well.

Let us know how she is! She looks like a really good figure, especially for a retool of Highbrow/Scourge. Probably helps she's EXTRA THICC the only official Windblade with a good facesculpt.

The Legends one is OK but too stern IMO. Doesn't help that the Hasbro one's paintjob is just not very good. And the RID one isn't bad I suppose but the noseless RID/Prime style really doesn't do her many favours.

I mean they're not horrible sculpts by any means, and in many cases I think the paintjobs didn't help (especially poor RID Windblade) but I still think the TR has the best looking noggin.

Bought from my infamous local geek store. 103$CAN with taxes is always a bit expensive for a toy, but man, no regrets because that MOFO is FUN!

The boat mode is nice but unlike the official transformation here, I prefer to tuck away the "skis" to give him a proper boat mode.

Why are the Japanese so obsessed by drill tanks? They serves no practical purposes realistically speaking and all the good that tiny drill can do is to poke tiny holes in things. Still look rad though. Only real fault of this mode is that there is no paint whatsoever on the thank threads. It would have beneficed of at least some silver highlights like on G1 Hardhead's threads.

Obligatory gun submarine mode is obligatory.

The jet mode is quite cohesive. I like it.

At first, I thought the wolf mode was unsalvageable but I found a way to transform him that make it quite awesome.

And finally, the bot mode is silly, ugly, with proportions out of wack, and the bot look like he wear a big diaper that he didn't changed for a week. But that whole vintage naiveté make me adore him! His true fault are the unpainted eyes. But I'm nitpicking.

He's also surprisingly posable.

I'm 12 years old and I'm so clever!

Overall, I really, really love this figure. Way more than G1 Sixshot that I once owned and sold after a few months. ;)^

I got news from my mandarake transaction:

We are sorry to hear that there were discrepancies on the condition of your purchase of God Bomber.
Since these items are secondhands (preowned), we are asking our customers to expect some minor damages on the contents. But as we checked the photos of the item with our toy staff,
this particular one seemed to be repaired with glue, and it should have been stated on the item page. I believe our staff overlooked the damage when he listed it.

If you could agree to keep the item as-is condition, we will refund 2,000 JP yen as the discount for the damage.

I can remove the dried up glue/epoxy, so while not pleasant, I end up with a used God Bomber for $30 USD (+shipping). I can't complain.

Yeesh, that sounds a bit sucky. Still, glad to hear Mandarake were helpful. They really are an awesome bunch.

Today I celebrated my B-Day with my family and this is one of the gifts I got:

G1 Guzzle!

I left a not so subtle hint to where they should get my gift. :lol:

Guzzle is in perfect condition. Stickers are perfect, he roll and sparks! That one was nearly bought with my G1 Quickswitch above but I skipped because I was going over budget. So when the family came to his store at the last possible second, he guided them toward that one... and ONE MORE. :DANCE:
