They arent great, but I wasnt telling Shajaki to bring back the figures to TRU. I was telling him to bring his receipt back. There is a sale starting in 4 mins and if he brings back his receipt, they will pay him back for what he would have saved if he bought them on sale.

For 80$ USD

80$ USD is the same as 100$ CAD, so it still cost me 100$ in my own currency and of course there is tax on top of that which I didnt mention.

Seige is in my BBTS POL waiting to be paid..... I could pay total retail (more actually, including shipping and customs) and feel secure.... or gamlbe on finding it in store for probably half the price.... what to do what to do

I paid 80$ USD. I just often write the US price because or else it wont look like a deal for your US freinds.

The sale is only 10% on the seige set. There is a coupon that gives you an extra 10% regardless. And there is a 20$ off coupon too. So since the price is 150$ CAD, it came out to 101$ CAD after the savings (before tax), so 80$ USD But those coupons are screwy. Some work, some dont, some will be honoured, others tores dont. So there are good chances the set would still cost you 150$ CAD, if you miss this week's sale. meaning the difference between thta and BBTS isnt that high.

Hahaha.... well if you're set up like me....

I have an expired credit card linked to my BBTS account. So when something comes in, I have a little extra time to pay for it, or just ignore it outright. I've never gotten any flack over it either (I know the import sites are really sensetive about that stuff). But I do usually cancel pre-orders before hand if I realize I don't really want them.

Like Trypticon and the Seige set, it might not be 30%. I didnt check today (since I have them already and got them for a relatively good price). The sale is up to 30% so they might only be 10% off as well. And I didnt know about the coupon you used so I dont know if they will allow a refund over the coupon. Sorry if it doesnt work out, I had not seen that part of it.

The Jada cars are 30% of though so thats pretty cool if you are into that. Will do a news post later this evening.

Spent my last dollars of the last pay on two Transformers thanks to TrU's sale. Also, that 10% Hasbro coupon was useful here.

I also exchanged my defective TR Windblade for a new one at TrU. Because going through Hasbro is now worthless.



Finally got Leader Megatron. Transformation is interesting, but less intuitive than the voyager. Also, lots of detachable parts for safety. Annoying and I can predict LOTS of incomplete Megs in the future.
The bot mode look "fat" compared to the voyager and his head sculpt look more like someone who saw "what can't be unseen" than someone evil. The voyager IS the EVIL one. Where this figure TRULY shine is the jet mode. HUGE, badass, and the flame thrusters accessories are the cherries on top of that nice sundae.
TlDr, worth the sale price aplenty but I wouldn't have paid full MSRP.

As for Missfire, I was blown away by her. She's truly a magnificent bot. Her plastics feel even more solid than TLK Leader Megatron. Paint is EVERYWHERE. Even the Titan Master is painted! Even her tiny face and visor! I also LOVE that pinky-purplelish color on Missfire. I bet she taste like bubblegum. Also, her tampographs are neat and sharp. Plus, her transformation is intuitive and fun. That lady is a contender for figure of the year. That's not usual Hasbro stuff here. That's Takara level of quality.

A nice haul at 74$CAN and zero cents, all taxes and rebates included. Nice considering TrU sell leader TLK figures for 75$CAN plus taxes usually.

I'm not impressed. At all. I already gave both figures to my sons.

Saw that Legion 2 pack at my TrU but even on sale, they amounted at FULL increased price. So I skipped. Also skipped on flimsy Infernocus.

Still, finding that box set ON SALE is quite a find!
I'm really digging that Metalhawk. It's the only figure of the set that I really want. Should I check Ebay, or I am at risk of nope'ing?

I was buying 2 other toys of a similar price (also on sale) and so I bought those legions just so I could use the buy 2 get 1 free coupon (if it worked, and it did). So I got those legions for free. No way in hell was I going to pay that price for those. Megs is awesome though, so I am happy. Its pretty nuts what TRU did with their exclusives this time, they are priced at a premium over the movies toys which are already priced at a 30% premium increase.

Speaking of exclusives, does your TRU have those exclusive deluxes? Because those are quite easy to get that quebec law rebate on since they always put them with the other regular priced deluxes without their own prices shown anywhere. And right now, TLK deluxes are shown at 20$, so you know what that means if you find a deluxe megs near those

Also, for the box set, you can get a raincheck and when it comes in you could still use that plus the additional 10% off coupon.

As for metalhawk, wait a bit. Americans still havent recieved their sets yet and only then will there be an influx on e-bay. So I say wait 2 weeks at least.

My TrU does have those exclusive deluxes. However, I don't think they are worth the hassle. I had to nag the cashier yesterday so that my 10% cuppon apply to BOTH Movie Megs and Missfire. I don't want to be that guy. Still, I hope they get STUCK with them "over premium" deluxes.

40$ deluxes... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Right.

Haven't had time to visit the forum much lately, but here's some stuff I've gotten over the past week:

Sky Shadow from Amazon for a little over $39 (and free Prime shipping). Probably wont find him at a better price than that so I had to get him.

Cybertron Microman Kicker from Mandarake as part of an auction lot for $10 or so after shipping. Tape was broken, but the figure was still attached to the bubble with a twist tie so he's as good as new. I have terrible luck with Microman figures from this era breaking their ankles, hopefully this one will hold up.

G1 Optimus Prime body from another Mandarake auction lot for around $14 with shipping. I was really just looking for a long stack prime since I don't own one. I can probably get fists pretty easily. Not entirely sure of its legitimacy, however. It definitely isn't an original, I'm pretty sure it's from one of the earlier reissues. It's in pretty good shape, some paint chipped on his chest and his right stack has some chrome wear, but otherwise good with tight joints. I wonder how it got separated from the rest of its parts without so much as having a single sticker applied.

Final item isn't a toy, but couldn't pass over the first two movies on BD for $5 at Goodwill. I've been going to Goodwill for years, this is the first time I've ever actually bought anything there. All the discs are there and the box is in good shape.
