Car boot haul. Yeah I been mostly buying Mega Bloks/Construx lately but here be some Tranansfornominers!

Image
Movie Jazz complete
Movie Smokescreen (Jazz redeco) just missing weapon
Prime Wheeljack complete
Cyberverse Prime Wheeljack (I have his large vehicle somewhere
Reveal the Shield Legends Megatron, what a crappy toy this is. And damn they took the whole orange cap thing way too far by casting the barrel and torso in orange plastic and painting over it. Ugh.
Power Core Pinpoint, I had one of these before I custommed into Firebot so I got a new one I can maybe custom into another classic Targetmaster too.
DotM Shockwave's blade. Cool cos I got the figure a couple weeks ago.
DotM Deluxe Starscreams weapons. Yay! My Screamer been making do with his G1 counterpart's missile launchers (without missiles), nice to have his proper weapons.
RTS Classics Hot Rod gun and missile. Just bought it cos it's often missing from that figure 2nd hand.

All together £5.

Spent two hours helping a stranger sort out six tubs of Transformer pieces which is where I got the above figures. Most of the complete ones I already had. Also pissed off cos I got beat to a £20 tub of vintage He-Man/Ninja Turtles/Thundercats figures looking in great condition with all accessories I estimated worth well over £100 but an old couple got them who I then overheard that's their grandkids christmas sorted. I hope they meant like selling them to a collector to buy a game console or something and not let those kids destroy those extremely good condition figures. Aaaargh!

Do people like collecting the tech spec cards? I have a few of those somewhere. I can't quite rememeber which. Some Pretenders mostly. Happy birthday by the way. Mine was 2 weeks ago. :)
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool! :)

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Oddly Fizzle is one of the tech spec cards I just mentioned. Everything's connected...

I think there's reasons why repeated use of a mold might lead to different results (change in chemical compound for the plastics?) but I don't believe in mold degradation. He's top notch, and so was my last one (Botcon Girai) ;)^

Yep, my Magna Convoy is perfectly tight with no sign of degradation. It might even be tighter than my original Classics Prime.

Will, I'm glad Mandarake gave you an acceptable discount on your God Bomber. They're customer service is top notch.

This guy is ... oh geez, there's just something about him. He seems lame, but he's not. Far from being awesome, yet in some kind of way he is. He's an enigma.

I have no attachment to the toy or the character.

His transformation is unique. Truck ... car ... I don't know of any that transform like this.
The head and arms are all on one pin which fold down, at which point the arms fold back and connect to form the truck bed. After that the feet fold up and then the legs fold up.

Simplistic transformation, but rather unique.

Always wanted one of these TFA Megatrons, needed a little fixing with his battery compartment being rusty but he works great after a baking soda wash.

That Megatron complete was one of the many, many TF figures I assembled yesterday from that person's many tubs of TF parts. Cannon and all the rotor blades too. Didn't take that cos I don't like Animated's style and I had it already in a big lot of Animated stuff I bought cheap a while ago I sold on some time ago for a nice tidy profit. Annoying cos I was mainly assembling the lot trying to find a leg that was the only thing missing from a Universe Targetmaster Cyclonus (apart from the TM himself) and I never did find that damn leg but still pleased with the other figures I got and especially DotM Deluxe Starscreams Mechtech weapons which are possibly my fave of the entire Mechtech range in their playvalue and different configurations.

Are you certain? Your profile says you are from England and the TF convention (Cybfest) I was speaking about happened in Washington State.

Also Mega doesn't have his swords or his gun so I will have to look for those or maybe go to shapeways ;)

That also explain my MASSIVE intake of G1 Transformers lately, especially the Pretenders.

I only had 3 transformers in my childhood, ever. Optimus Prime, Defensor (5, yeah, but whatev) and Apeface. ALL of them were DESTROYED and needed to be rebought at FULL price off Ebay and my local Geek Store. Those were the ones filled with nostalgia. But the rest? I barely saw the G1 cartoon, I never read any comics, and I don't really care about the fiction at all. So nothing nostalgic about buying Scorponok, snapdragon, 12 pretenders, 6 headmasters, and more.

But I do appreciate weird and fun designs and the G1s just... push all the right buttons. :x
Oh and I'm certainly not done. NEED MOAR!

True true, but that's thankfully gotten a lot better in the past ten years. Animated, Prime, RiD, Masterpiece, Unite Warriors... there's probably a few good movie ones.
