I think there's reasons why repeated use of a mold might lead to different results (change in chemical compound for the plastics?) but I don't believe in mold degradation. He's top notch, and so was my last one (Botcon Girai)Black Hat wrote:Awesome! Let us know how he is when you open him. I wonder how well that mold has held up after all those uses...

This guy is ... oh geez, there's just something about him. He seems lame, but he's not. Far from being awesome, yet in some kind of way he is. He's an enigma.

Not intentionally. I just found these two and always wanted them so I got them. If anything I am building a Ratchet collection.

That Megatron complete was one of the many, many TF figures I assembled yesterday from that person's many tubs of TF parts. Cannon and all the rotor blades too. Didn't take that cos I don't like Animated's style and I had it already in a big lot of Animated stuff I bought cheap a while ago I sold on some time ago for a nice tidy profit. Annoying cos I was mainly assembling the lot trying to find a leg that was the only thing missing from a Universe Targetmaster Cyclonus (apart from the TM himself) and I never did find that damn leg but still pleased with the other figures I got and especially DotM Deluxe Starscreams Mechtech weapons which are possibly my fave of the entire Mechtech range in their playvalue and different configurations.

I have no attachment to the toy or the character.
His transformation is unique. Truck ... car ... I don't know of any that transform like this.
The head and arms are all on one pin which fold down, at which point the arms fold back and connect to form the truck bed. After that the feet fold up and then the legs fold up.
Simplistic transformation, but rather unique.

That's almost even better -- he's one of those characters that's consistently great across most continuities

But whose toys do not share that same great cinsistency.
