I decided to stop at Aldis. I already have Ramhorn's wave in my BBTS POL from 2 months ago, waiting on another thing, and I heard there was a guy looking for one, so I figured, why not?

They had 2. I bought both. One is going to a guy, the other, I couldn't wait. Opened him. Titan Masters are the best pocket-change-formers I own. They have killed this bite sized package, and PotP Pretenders will continue that.

When the BBTS one comes, I'll either have 2 like I will Ptero, maybe with one taking over a larger body, or I'll sell him away too.

Thursday: Years of the Monkey Optimus Primal from Amazon. Pretty awesome for only $27 and some change. Forgot how huge this mold is.

Friday: My Hasbro Toy Shop order arrived super fast considering the usual holiday congestion. Titan Master Ramhorn, Prime Masters wave 1, and TLK Legion Megatron.

Ramhorn is the regular light colored version if anyone cares.

Quite!. I've got most of them by now, i still need skystalker, the Hot Rod patrol and the missile transport for Western releases, and i want the Decepticon Sixbuilder reissue version from Japan.
I also intend to get the Western releases of the combiners on card, and display those on the wall, next to the glass case that the other MM's will have for themselves.

It IS indeed a fantastic figure. But the initial MSRP was ridiculous. Had to pay around 85$CAN for mine due to shipping and exchange rate, but no regrets. I prefer this version over the original.

So having it cheaper is always a good thing.

Just a couple smaller things this week:

PotP Dinobot Slash
TR Overboard
TR Ramhorn

And my luck struck again, with Overboard having a slight molding defect above one of the slots for the Dino head. In this case a hole, possibly an air bubble that was caught during casting. O well. I got both him (on my wife's insistence) and Ramhorn at Aldi, with Slash at Walmart. Alpha Trion card if you must know (with the same type of error as all her other cards), I saw others with Alchemist and Liege Maximo ones.

:EDIT: I forgot to mention, the Ramhorn is the dark variant and it looks like that's the only one being shipped out.

Slash is one of the single most boring and useless figures I have ever held.

Why wouldn't you buy the Jazz mold Again, out of curiosity? From photos, he really looks like a Walgreens figure (Prowl, etc), super simple and basic.

All right, time to try this again.

I found another RID deluxe Soundwave at Walmart (no PoP there) and gave it a second chance. This time around, no missing parts nor other QC issues. Finally. Paid full 20$CAN+tx too.

Worth the trouble? Well, no. He's underwhelming. The bot do look nice, but he's a floppy mess, with the chest and arms that barely tab themselves in place. Plus the vehicle have gaps all over and have visible hands syndrome. Not garbage, but close enough.

I actually didn't really like it from the pics, and only got it because it's Jazz. There's something off to me about the car mode, and it wasn't better in hand. I then tried using it as a limb with CW Optimus. As an arm I found the range of motion limited. It was a little better as a leg but Jazz was a bit floppy in this mode. There is a chance I mistransformed it as I was messing around with it late at night when I received it, and I haven't touched it since. Robot mode is ok at best.

But I shouldn't say I wouldn't buy the mold again. If it was heavily retooled into a character I care about and was done well, I'd probably pounce. It's just unlikely.

Finally pulled the trigger at BBTS to ship my PoL. Not much in the line of official TFs with this haul. Nothing to get excited about, just some missing TR figures that either didn't how in my area at all or just barely made and appearance.

SB Jetfire is super nice for what it is. The transformation is clever and easy (but watch the ears) and he's surprisingly posable. If you can forgive the cocktease "knees".

It look pretty boss in my classic style Jetfire display.

To keep on topic, I did find/buy a POTP Jazz today but I have been searching my butt off looking for the Starscream and Grimlock Voyagers with no luck. I have no idea why we are getting it piece meal and not the full run like other locations. Weird things is, there were two(Jazz) next to some legends figures on an endcap. I have seen this set up at every Target I have been to so at least knowing that paid off. I have been to three Targets in two days and they all have this same set up, with the other two locations having TR deluxes in place of the POTP deluxes. And this is the only Target I have seen deluxe POTP's at and they had no Jazz figures the first time around. Well, now I know where they went.

Minus Windcharger, this is one of the few transformers runs I am actually trying to complete all of. I'm not a completion nut when it comes to the figures but every one of these molds/characters was appealing. And the toy sections I see in the Brag/Cry thread are in no way indicative of local toy selections. Ours look like the water or batteries section right before a hurricane. Depleted.

My Encore Fort Max came today! The joints were super tight, so I had to lubricate them. But I'm super happy, and he fills a (huge) hole in my collection.
