Finally found Quake tonight. I've had a hard time fining him, but the Walmart nearest work restocked what appeared to be two cases of the revision wave 4 (despite never having proper wave 4 or 5).

Unfortunately I had a bit of "sticker shock" at the register:

Were they cheaper? They've been that price for a while around here. I do think Walgreens had some on sale(13.99 or something) recently but that's the lowest I've seen anything save for Target's BF sale.

Were they cheaper? They've been that price for a while around here. I do think Walgreens had some on sale(13.99 or something) recently but that's the lowest I've seen anything save for Target's BF sale.

They were $14.92 in stores (and still are on Walmart.com for the most part). Here's an old pic from earlier this year:

So that's a $2+ price hike for me.

In Canada deluxe prices had jumped from 15$CAN to 20$CAN in just 2 or 3 years... And I expect PoP deluxes to follow the MOVIE 30$CAN price soon...

Since HTS did a sale the other day with about 20% off I couldn't resist grabbing TLK Leader Megatron finally. Had been putting it off for some time. Got the figure yesterday and gotta say I do enjoy it. The mask gimmick doesn't really work like it should (a common problem) and the transformation process is rather intuitive but harkening back to the torture of something like RotF Leader Optimus Prime with all the tabbing in of stuff. I didn't really need the directions this time when I did it even though they were massively vague when it came to the tabs and what not. Guess that's a plus to me since I was able to figure it out.

This'll probably be my last Megatron for a bit here unless I can find a deal and well the Studio Series line gets released. What little I've seen of that RotF Megatron I was ecstatic with since I love his RotF design the most.

At last, I received TLK deluxe Cogman from China! It suck that it end up costing 10$ more than if I had bought it at the local EbGames. Still, at least I have him. I will just complete his paint on his thighs and arms and post the result in the TLK thread.

Just got my own Titans Return Hot Rod. He's fantastic and so far i havent encountered any of the problems i've heard about.

-cracked canopy roof hinge
-head mounting issues.
-loose hinges
..
I havent found any official sources stating f hasbro has regained quality control over this mold.
As for firedrive i dont him being all grey but i dislike that his guns are so hollow

When did yours arrive compared to the expected delivery date? Mine will be a week overdue tomorrow from the end of the expected arrival range. I contacted the seller last week and said it had sent and checked to make sure it had, saying holiday shipping must be slowing it down.

Your seller is perfectly right. We are entering the busy season so expect some slowdowns.
For reference, I placed my order on November 4th. Expected delivery between November 21 to January 1st. I received it last Friday so it took around 5 weeks. Eh, that's what you should expect with super cheap oversea shipping.

Well, after talking about it yesterday, my Cogman arrived along with my clones from Cobotron!!!

And unfortunately, Cogman has a major flaw that cannot be overlooked, and that really lets down my excitement for him...




Went into him completely cold, hadn't watched how the Transformation actually worked. Was so excited after seeing how awesome the bot mode was and the headmaster was. I looked at the directions (I got 2, one paper, one laminated, because it was Takara's), I pulled that crotch piece out, and it snapped right in half. The very first thing I did to the figure transformation wise, and it broke right in half, no resistance. I am incredibly sad. It is the 2nd figure to break on me in a month brand new.

As for the clones, I think Wingspan is the best of the 4 overall. Fastlane is better than Cloudraker too

TLK Megs. I only got this last week because of the TRU 20% off sale and a $10 off your next purchase Reward from their program from a previous purchase. I have Dreadwing and like the mold, but not as Megs, so he'll go into my generations collection as a new head-cannon character to be determined. He's going under the tree, so I won't be opening him up for a while.

Today's haul was Ramhorn from Aldi. Cancelled my Entertainment Earth preorder as soon as I got home. I wasn't counting on having him before Christmas, so my dilemma is stocking stuffer or open it now....

Compromise, I'll open it this weekend, showing a little bit of token restraint.

Got all of the new deluxes, legends and voyagers POTP toys in one fell swoop at Walmart:



And I can say that I have 0 problems with Windgharger's face. The face doesnt look like he has chubby cheeks, or that he is holding a fart in and it does not seem completely be ahead of the rest of his head. Thats definitely one toy that looks way better in hand. Wish it could roll well though.

Prices were awesome though, was able to price match with a toysrus sale on voyagers and deluxe TF figures. The prices below are in CAD but basically, it means I got every deluxe for $10.91 and each voyager for $16.38 USD

Just picked up PoP Shrapnel, PoP Beachcomber and TLK voyager Nitro Zeus. He has 35 steps? Pretty complex. Jet mode looks great.

No PoP whatsoever at my local Walmart. So to not come home empty handed and because someone missed his daddy, I took TLK voyager Scorn. Thankfully at the normal voyager price of 30$CAN plus taxes rather than 40$CAN +tx.

I've yet to unpack it and play. Let's hope for not defects this time.
