Now excuse me while I make a long rant. You don't have to read it, I'm just blowing off some built up frustration and this is as good a place as any since it has to do with my MP-44.
DHL has got to be the most incompetent shipping service there is. Their customer service is a complete joke that isn't capable of answering even the simplest questions without screwing it up. I don't know where they find these people, but they clearly failed reading comprehension. So everything started fine, it shipped on time and seemed to be going smoothly. Only hitch was that I had signed up for DHL On Demand Delivery and filled out their signature release form so all they would have to do was just drop off my package. I live on a private, dirt, dead end road so I'm not exactly worried about anyone coming by and snagging a $350 figure off my porch. But for whatever reason the package didn't show up in On Demand. Whatever, I went to the tracking page and filled out a signature release there specifically for the one package. My last DHL delivery came during the day when nobody was home to sign for it and it took a week for them to hand it off to USPS for delivery and another week to get it from the post office because they wont deliver packages that require a signature and the post office is about 25 miles away from where I work and in the opposite direction of my house. I really didn't want to go through all that again, hence all the signature releases to make things go as smooth as possible. Problem solved, right? Nope!
The day before delivery the tracking updates just stopped coming. Normally I get constant updates up through the delivery so this was strange. Delivery day comes, but no Optimus and no updates. Next day I get an email from my USPS Informed Delivery account telling me they have my package and it's ready for pickup. DHL never even attempted to deliver, they just handed it off to USPS in Boston. So I'm pretty annoyed now because all of the prep I did was for nothing. So I send an angry, but not mean email to their customer service using their own email form with all the drop down options pointing to delivery and tracking complaint from the tracking page asking some simple questions that any DHL customer service rep should have been able to answer quickly. I wanted to know why the package didn't show up in my On Demand Delivery Account, why they didn't deliver my package, why they handed it off to USPS and why USPS wanted a signature after I had filled out two different signature releases for the package. A couple days later I get an email from them telling me they're here to assist my business in a number of ways and I should really create a business account with them instead of using On Demand to help with the packages I send. Not once did I mention businesses or sending packages and I have no idea how anyone that read my email would have come to that conclusion. I also receive a call that went to voicemail from another rep that wants to help me locate my missing package, I just need to give them a complete description including tracking number, who sent it, what's in the box in detail, value and a few other things that really don't matter because I never said anything about the package being missing. I mentioned it was at the local post office at least three times in my email.
So I send them a frustrated email back repeating everything I wrote above about them not answering any of my questions and offering things that were never the original issue. A few days later I get another call informing me that they they found my package, it's at my local post office ready to be picked up any time along with USPS tracking number and they're closing my complaint ticket. Whatever.
Screw DHL.

Isn't that the truth. I won't even get into the fun I had picking up lumber at Home Depot tonight. (Short version: Ordered a bunch of lumber online this morning, was supposed to be fulfilled in around 2 hours. 10 hours later I go into the store to find out why it hadn't been filled yet. They apparently forgot.
Anyway, found Studio Series Hightower at Walmart tonight. Going to be messing around with him and his t-rex arms in a little bit!

I picked up Seige Brunt at Walmart. Really love him. Zetard was back in stock on Hasbro Pulse recently so I ordered him. Can't wait for Zetar to be in-hand!

Shockwave, in particular, feels like a victory for me.Last time I tried to get CB Shockwave, months ago, there was a defect that kept one of his arms from straightening all the way for vehicle mode, and once I returned him, I thought I'd probably never see another one. So I finally caught the one that got away. This one sort ofhas the same problem, but to a much lesser degree, enough so that it was only noticeable because I was looking for it. Otherwise a good figure, and I'm really glad to finally have him.

Yeah I was messing with him yesterday, the only thing that was annoying was his front right paw is loose as hell and kept falling off. Other than that it is a nice figure. I really like that Soundwave too.

Cheating a bit with a package from Maketoys themselves, Galaxy Meteor. I took an opportunity with the sale and got Galaxy Meteor for around 95$CAN shipped! And the thing came super fast too.

As for the true Transformers, got Siege Brunt. A neat little guy and it complete Trypticon beautifully.

Dropkick is outstanding, really fun transformation and pretty great all around. My favorite SS deluxe so far.
Shatter is a disappointment, but was expected hearing everyone else's experiences with the mold. I'm glad I only paid about $14 with tax. Mine has the crappy shoulder joints and the front fenders also don't like staying attached either. A real shame, if the tolerances were better, this could have been a pretty good mold with a decent transformation, if only everything would stay attached.

it's amazing how different in quality these 2 figures are despite being fairly similar. Dropkick is definitely a winner

Coincidentally I also got this figure Saturday. Picked up a loose complete one on eBay for a good price. I got the Takara Tomy retool 3 times between the two Legends versions and the Hasbro box set, but never got the proper TR Leader. I just didn't see many of him in stores and the online deals were rare. Now I just need a SDCC Primitive Prime, or do I? Stay tuned!
Also got my Dino tapes from Hasbro Pulse. They're OK. The dino modes are good and they make nice tapes, but the combined mode is pretty awful. I don't get how they knocked it out of the park with Slamdance and Squawkbox and made the Dino's so abysmal. Well, Legout isn't that bad, but Decibel is like an awkward drone that barely stays together thanks to Graphy's head not being strong enough to keep the top half upright. Also great job Hasbro with forgetting to include any mention of Decibel on the package at all, not even in the instructions. I guess they didn't find his combined form convincing either.

Got mine for a damn good price too.($19 plus shipping I believe). Today I got Generations 30th Leader Jetfire, Siege Ultra Magnus, Titans Return Ramhorn ( which was the last one I needed ), and some G1 Dinobot weapons to give my POTP Dinobots all swords and guns.

It's the 2003 reissue, so technically it is Powermaster Prime with Apex Armor.
But still, this thing is INCREDIBLE

I think I have the same. Got lucky way back then to have mine basically brand new but without box for a great price. There was a LOT of stickers to apply but man, the result is epic.
Pretty odd that usually, I'm against part-forming but this set, who is basically a construction set, get a free pass from me.

I paid $40 for mine with free shipping, but the shipping on the box was $15 so I guess I technically paid $25 for the figure itself. It was the cheapest complete one on eBay when I ordered it and I was in a really good mood after another eBay find that should be here soon (it's shipping out of Poland and just cleared NY customs).

I think he is referring strictly to the transformation which is indeed rather simple.
