He definitely is a bit fidley in combined mode but looks good once you get him situated.

Picked up those G1 mini figures that are showing up at Dollar Tree. Managed to get all six (including the last Bumblebee) which is great since I still haven't found a Soundwave key chain. These are surprisingly good figures, I'd be happy to pay $3 each for them in blind boxes so $1 in marked packages is a great deal! The details are phenomenal for the size and they have lots of thin little parts. Paint is pretty good and clean for the most part with some surprising app choices like the dials on the back of Soundwave's legs and the yellow bits on Prime's butt. The only weak one is Starscream, his sculpt is fine, but he's the shortest of the six and his head isn't well painted. Best is Grimlock, they smartly sculpted him in dino mode and he has these needle thin arms with incredibly small fingers. I want more!

Well santa left me a few things. Seems to be a very Deception xmas.

I got a few figures this morning! Now just to wait for my Toyhax order to make Inferno into Pyro! It's been 3 weeks and it has still not shown up yet.

Sweet! I just happened to be working near a Dollar Tree but couldn't find any. But I did leave with a Ren & Stimpy! Sounds like those TFs are worth a hunt.

They sure are, espcially Grimlock, he's probably one of my favorite things this year.

Just showing off that strange attention to paint detail on Prime's butt. Grimlock himself only has a tiny bit of paint in the red stripe and his blue eyes (and a tampo symbol), all the yellow is molded plastic glued onto the gray plastic. I'm sure these were 3D modeled hence everyone having their hands flat with the fingers spread out which is pretty impressive in its own way. I need more of these, they're incredible!

I got a bunch of money for Christmas, so I bought myself some things for my collection. I got:

Transformers Cyberverse Scraplet. I remember first reading about Scraplets way back in Transformers Marvel #29, and I was surprised that they finally got a toy representation.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Siege Lancer. I've finally completed all the Season 2 fembots!

Transformers: War for Cybertron Siege Galactic Man Shockwave. I've been a sucker for the original Radio Shack Shockwave and getting a nod to it in an official TF release was too much to pass up.

Transformers Botcon 2014 Devcon. I love obscure characters getting obscure toys, if the rest of my TF list wasn't an indication.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Mudflap and Skids ice cream truck.

Transformers: Beast Wars Neo Corahda.

A KO of a Transformers Victory Galaxy Shuttle.

And the Transformers: IDW Collection Volumes 1-4.

A little late, but here’s my Christmas haul- some very cool movie Decepticons!

Really glad to finally get my hands on Brawl, and I’m liking Megatron a lot more than I thought I would. The vehicle mode is awesome and although I think I prefer the robot mode on the voyager this one is still cool. The flame pieces are a really nice bonus too!

I also ordered SS-49 Bumblebee, which should be here soon!

Most of my stacks and piles have come in. Took advantage of a lot of nice deals and sales over the last month and a half. Still missing some, but...

Nearly finished with the Human Alliance figures, which is pretty exciting. I really do love these little guys. Since they went on sale at TF Source I pulled the trigger on Shadow Panther and Cordon. SP mostly because of how sexy that figure looks in black. Turns out that he tabs together much better than my Cheetor. And Cordon because the Sunstreaker mold is simply one of, if not the best, G1 MP figures. The little bit of remolding and the Diaclone head really make Cordon a stellar toy.

MP BW Megatron going on sale felt like the right time at last to pick him up. Plus a small slew of old BW figures.

The only TF figure I bought that didn’t get shipped (for some unknown reason...) is MP Supreme Commander Convoy/Primal. Really looking forward to him.
Not pictured are some 3rd party hands for MP Magnus, Prime, and my Seekers. Along with probably way too many SH Figuarts figures. I might have gone way overboard.

Good news: I got my new Siege Omega Supreme!

Bad news: His left arm bicep swivel is stuck and won't turn.

I've already unscrewed the single screw on the bicep, but it hasn't loosened it up any. Advice?

Just picked up Cyberverse Spark Armor Grimlock with Trash Crash (although i prefer the name Wreck-Gar for the drone because Animated Wreck-Gar was a garbage truck)

Looks like the springs on my Wreck-Gar drone are nice and strong and easy to lock in place. Did get it mostly because of Grimlock though. I bought this instead of the Siege Rescue Team

They've been shelf warming until recently. Had to go to the opposite side of town as the two closest WMs still wanted full price. One of them has a few Rumble/Ravage packs, so I'm brick-seeking hard on that store. I may have to suck it up and do some more driving though.

I picked up the reissues as well tonight. Soundwave was $30 and off alone in a clearance toy section they set up where the Christmas ornaments were before. The tapes were $11 on their normal pegs, they still had a bunch of the Frenzy set, but only two of the Rumble set. Got the best looking ones of each since I'm going to keep them sealed. $52 for the set is the ideal price for me.

I didnt check if the soundwave reissue was clearanced in my neck of the woods yet but I'm not worried. I bought one recently and if it goes down in any walmart, I will just get a partial refund regardless if they have it in the store or not. I have 90 days for that to happen and I dont have to stress about getting it or not.

Man, Canada has some consumer friendly policies. Not so much in the US, you'd have to do a return and repurchase or just raise hell with a manager, both options being longshots and not worth it. I've bought things at a lower price and turned right around and returned them with the older receipt. Return policies vary greatly between retailers though.

I took off for an early morning FoMo hunt for Ravage/Rumble and was able to man the pair. Unfortunately, this was an all or nothing scenario.

The shark is 17$CAN and the Micromasters are 56$CAN rounding the cents up. Plus taxes. Not an incredible deal, but better than full 20$ + 70$.

Also, that shark is GOOD. Cleverly made and stupid fun.
