When I bought my Siege Megatron, I didn't know the Netflix version was ever going to be a thing. So I made a little trade with my friend. I gave him my standard Siege Megs plus a perfect condition Super Gobots Leader-1 for his Netflix Megs. But he also gave me a bunch of Siege Targetmasters as a surprise bonus! He only paid them 1$ each and didn't like them. So yay

Honestly I think that Megatron is ugly, but nice job on the little guys. Gotta catch 'em all!

What's so ugly about him? Too much doom-n-gloom? You prefer the standard one, or the "anime" one?

As for the little buggers, they are all doubles or even triples. But they are excellent troopers!

I don't like that paint job. Looks like dirty or tarnished chrome. The anime release is my favorite, but I have the original one as well, and I don't care for it. Ironically, I didn't like Prime's anime deco, I just got the original.

If I come across a Siege Megatron that is used and even incomplete in the wild, I'd love to fully customise one into Miner/Gladiator Megatron using new parts and the repro set.

I never planned to get ER Skylinx. I'm good with the G1 I said. Well, seeing him in person at Toys R Us, and seeing they had only two changed my mind. I don't care it was full price at almost 140$CAN with the taxes. I still have 90 days to get the difference if a sale ever happen thanks to the Club R policy.

I got a box. Haven't opened it yet. Not going to play the "what's in the box" game either.

And they're only getting smaller. That Prime is barely taller than Siege Ironhide. The robot mode looks really good though.

Super super tiny. And it's a LEADER. IMO at the very least Roller and the energon axe should have been included from the start. Regardless, that smoll Optimus have blown my mind because he's everything Hybrid Convoy could have been. A mini MP with a great looking truck mode.

Yeah I just transformed him for the first time. Have to say, I'm VERY impressed with the tricks they utilised to hide the front of the cab.

The size doesn't really bother me, I know the price point you'd expect more but that's just the world we live in these days. Still, a very impressive figure.

Got the Amazon Coneheads 2 pack a while a go and forgot too make note of something. I know many have been they've been getting their sets in no shipping box and the shipping label just on the actual art package. In my case, I got them in a box similar to that of Skywarp and Greenlight from last year but in another box with TF The Movie just chilling on top. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

As for teh last picture, it's not a defect, (although there maybe something wrong with Ramjet's left knee) I purposely left Dirge's feet mid transformed to replicate the seekers booster like feet for added height. Might leave both of them like this.

This guy is a BEAST! I still can not believe I have him in my hands now. More pictures along with Devastator will be in the studio series thread eventually. He is so awesome I had to bring him to work with me!

Arrivals during the weekend. Amazon f-ed up my Coneheads so I'm annoyed by that. and then I got Blastcharge and Flamewar from ebay, as well as She-Hulk. Pretty good stuff overall. Tomorrow, I will join the Devastator crowd too

Sky Lynx comes in Sunday from Amazon, gotta love Prime shipping. He's just as magnificent as you'd expect him to be. Was a little concerned because USPS tracking said he was left in my mailbox, and while I do have an oversized box, it certainly isn't THAT big. Plus I live at the very end of a private dead end road so my box is about a quarter mile from my house and I've seen USPS hang packages off my neighbors boxes which is a crazy thing to do when thieves are brazen enough to steal right off people's doorsteps. Personally I've had them leave long packages sticking out of my box with the door open for anyone driving by to take. In the end my concerns were for nothing, the package was sitting on my porch after all.

In other purches I was hunting around for anything new or interesting Saturday and while I wasn't able to find anything particularly good I did take pity on the last remaining PotP Liege Maximo/Skullgrin at Five Below so that was something.

Yeah I'm expecting Scorponok from Pulse this week, and I'm usually at work when the mail arrives. So that means this huge box will be left on my front step. I live in an apartment complex, and anyone walking by can just pick it up and leave with it and I'd never know. So far that hasn't happened, but Scorpy will be pretty big and noticeable. Hopefully my neighbors won't be dicks, I don't know them well.

This guy just arrived. He's quite a neat Ultra class! The amount of articulation in his legs and arms is really good, he's Siege level of posing. Still needs a head and waist, but he's seriously quite nice to move around! I love the wolf head sword too

Fun story, though I doubt anyone cares but ...

Partner gets a parcel delivered today, so I decide to check the tracking on a parcel I was waiting on. It says it's on board for delivery today and where it said it was being delivered looked like work (not there today because ... Covid).

So imagine my surprise when not even 2 minutes later there's a toot from the driveway, I go to the window and ol mate delivery dude hands me a box.

The same box I had just tracked.

In it was Earthrise Doubledealer and Optimus Prime.

Thus endeth the story, now go the **** to sleep.

My own feel good story: I finally found Snapdragon at my Wal-Mart today. Tomorrow I'm supposed to get Scorponok from Pulse. I'll be at work so it better not rain and my neighbors better not get sticky fingers. He'll be sitting on my front step for a few hours. But between TR, Siege and ER, I will finally have most of the released Decepticon Headmasters.

I've had that happen before too, it's really a fun experience when you check tracking and only minutes later it shows up at your door. Had it happen with an ebay package one, and another from Pulse via Fedex.

Stiiiiiiill waiting for Walmart to ship my Netflix version of Megatron. Ordered way back in June. Still says delayed.

Put Devastator together this morning. He’s really quite good, and solidly built. I do feel like there are a few things that could be improved upon, but honestly I think the task of getting these eight totally different figures to combine so well is a monumental toy achievement to begin with. So no actual complaints for me.

Got another Beast Machines Maximal in! And I have to say, this one might be my favorite so far. I'm maybe about halfway through the Maximals I intend to get from the line at this point.
