I was out on the hunt.
Not really.
I stopped by Target.
The wondiferiuos Mrs. X3rohour and I were out for a small drive.
This COVID plague had gotten us somewhat cabin feverish.

Got something HUGE from eBay.

Literally.

Transformers Movie 2007 ULTIMATE Bumblebee!

(The small Studio Series Bumblebee shown for scale.)

Damn, this thing is just ridiculous. And for only 12$CAN, it was a steal!
Granted, missing missile and shipping alone was 38$CAN from a Canadian seller. But the box was big and the toy itself is VERY heavy. (However, that box go straight to the recycling bin.)

I bought some batteries and then, party time of lights and sounds! Seriously fun and my cat hate it! :lol:

Transformation is easy but annoying. Lot of force have to be used to snap and unsnap things. Then it's loose panels management galore including the door wings that are partforming-ish.

Once we got to the bot mode, we get something that is far, far from being screen accurate, but pretty cool looking nonetheless. (Again, SS Bee shown for scale)

The lights and sounds party is upgraded by adding animatronics! Bee's arms, wings, and head move as he spout random phrases and musics and SFX.

It's stupid.

-kanrabat-, that figure does look like stupid fun. It reminded me of going to TRU in '07 or '08 and seeing it there. I thought if I didn't dislike Bee I would get one just for kicks.

Well, I disliked that toy a lot for years. Most pictures I saw were the stock photos with the misstransformed chest. The correct ones din't really fare better. But the main reason was the high price + high shipping cost.

Then I saw that Canadian listing with a 12$CAN starting bid. I finally bothered to look up a video review of this monstrosity. When I saw that the thing can "dance" on it's own, I had to bid. So I bid 13$.............. and won! :lol:

My expectations were at floor level so maybe that's why I was so happy when playing with the silly thing! 8-}

Haven't posted in this thread in a while, since most of my TF acquisitions last year were drip-fed online purchases that I didn't really feel constituted as "hauls", but this past week was good for me: popped over to the local Walmart now that I'm back at school and found my first Kingdom figures, and one of the ER figures I was still missing from my list came in the mail, courtesy of that last Friday's Pulse restocks.

And even though I don't have it yet, another of my remaining holes from ER is getting filled by yesterday's Pulse restocks, as I was finally able to get an Allicon!

Now I just need to stalk that Walmart for Warpath, since he was the only Kingdom Deluxe they didn't have when I got these two, as well as to see if they get anyone bigger in...

It's been a pretty good week for hunting. I took my first foray into Kingdom a few days ago when I found Rattrap, and after weeks of searching I finally found Netflix Bee today. Both are pretty good.

I pretty much given up on it but I was finally able to get Select Sandstrom.

I had to order it via the E.B. Games website, then I had to pick it up at the store. A store that is pretty far by bus and I had to walk a long way in the cold to get the damn thing. With no opportunity to warm up due to the stupid lockdown.

But at least I have it and I only paid retail.

As expected, S. Sandstrom is really good.

Finally got my Earthrise Rung off eBay, really wish I had ordered it earlier and didn't pay way more than I should have. Oh well, it was stimulus money so it didn't really cost me anything. I now have Earthrise 100% complete.

Also found the little Buzzworthy Bumblebee with Spike at Target. They had a bunch of them in the Transformers section instead of the endcap.

Got some new figures in the last few days.

Got a sealed Siege Rung from Ebay for only $9.85! This was the last Siege figure that I needed, I now have Siege 100% complete.

Got Cyclonus from Walmart. He was sitting in a cart full of other toys that needed to be restocked. I don't think I have grabbed a figure so fast before. I think he was either a return of someone had hid him and they found it. He is easily the best figure out of Kingdom wave 1 for me.

Finally, the PCP and ER Barricade pack showed up today. I was not expecting this until Monday, but I'll take it! Now I just need to get Barricade packed up and shipped off to D-maximal to enjoy!

Well, eHobby Roadhauler was kinda unusual himself if you think about it. After all, in his MTMTE appearance (where he's actually named), Hauler is identical to Grapple. So in order to do him as a separate toy Takara had to do him in Constructicon colors and say that he was a former member of that team in their pre-Devastator days.

Tigertrack, Cordon, Spinout, and Deep Cover are all less unusual than Roadhauler.

Now, Blackout and Sandstorm are definitely more unusual than Sunstorm.. but they're unusual in a way that makes them more exotic and desirable. Especially with the "Thing we never got finally being made in some form" appeal.

Scorponok arrived today. More pics will follow.

Scorponok is glorious. And after seeing the show, the box art makes sense. My only issue with him is his face. It should be white or cream colored instead of silver/gray.

My haul for today is the Dominus Criminal Pursuit pack, and while I don't care for Barricade one way or another, Punch/Counterpunch is really good, love the bot modes and the car mode.

Well, silver makes sense in the context of G1 cartoon accuracy, since it's silver (or rather, the slightly gray off-white that the cheap animation uses as a proxy for silver) in "The Rebirth". And I think it works quite well in his case (there are however a few, like Hot Rod, where silver doesn't work as well IMO).

I could have sworn his face was off-white/cream colored in Rebirth... :-?

But anyway I think his face should have been the same color that Zarak's chest is. The silver/gray doesn't go with his helmet, there's too much of the same color. Anyway, enjoy him, he goes perfectly with the original G1 Fort Max, if you have one.

I do have amain problem with ER Scorponok. I just cannot find him at normal retail and I don't want to pay 50% MORE from an already expensive price just to get him.
Look like some American online retailers have him back on preorder for this summer. Here's some hope he'll also reappear in Canadian stores as well.

Scorponok, game consoles, and high end PC video cards, that's 2020 online scalping in a nutshell. Glad I was able to get an Amazon order in for Scorpy, not so lucky with an RTX 3080.
