thats the the thing. for some reason, american stuff crossing the canadian boarder is troublesome. once an item is declared over 150 or something, BAM customs fee. anything, from anywhere else, with any dollar value? nothing.-Kanrabat- wrote:Cobotron wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Customs pounce on that sheyt like raging bears on honey...![]()

Waiting til tomorrow is a good idea man. Let the heat disperse. Hope you like him.
You bet I will.
Also, from now on, CHIMUNG ALL THE WAY.
Every times I bought from them, no customs fees were ever charged for some reason. So, so long, BBTS.
yeah. it appears my family was conspiring this yearCobotron wrote:Wow! Good stuff. Those Zelda themed items look nice too.shajaki wrote:heres the christmas haul! (the toy stuff anyways)

i still like BBTS, but i try not to deal with them on certain things (like MP's or other big ticket items).
weird. i havent seen a customs charge in a long time unless it came from the states. my BBTS orders usually cost me 20-50 bucks extra cause the hauls are big (damn pile of loot).-Kanrabat- wrote:That's the thing. MP Bumble was worth below 80$US but they still charged over 20$ of customs. I bought a MP-11 from China and I had to pay customs as well. 26$ to be exact. The difference is it was for a 200$ purchase, not for a below 80$ purchase.
Those asshat white collars don't make any senses.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:Just picked up Crosscut and Windblade. Crosscut is pretty awesome. Makes me wish I didn't miss-out on Skids. Either way, I'm good with this! Windblade... Well after all my talk of not liking it, I kinda do like it now that I have it. I don't know what the hell it is about it that I like either.

Is he worth 200$+? Meaning, do you feel he's worth every $ spendt?

i did not pay $200+ for himpreordered him from HLJ for 14400 JPY, aka about 120 USD.
and yes, i think he's absolutely worth that money. he's rock-solid, looks good, intricate and very nice to transform, unlike mp rodimus.
if you collect MP's, you need magnus.

wilcosu35 wrote:even with shipping included, i won't reach $200, even if i shipped him by himself, which i didn't.
i try to combine shipping as much as possible
and i also think bbts is quite expensive. i order all MP's from HLJ now, they're a lot cheaper.
there might be cheaper options available, but i'm not familiar with those, and i'm very content with HLJ.
ofcourse i fully understand if you think he's quite expensive, because he is. but i think he's worth every penny, and i'm very happy with his looks and quality

For us, canadians, he would cost 199$ US, which becomes 230$ Canadien plus whatever fee the government wants to impose. Question is, holding him in your hands now, would you have paid 200 euros for this?
for being a canadian shop, its really irritating that everything they do is in USD. their prices arent much different than any others, so i havent tried them out yet.Cobotron wrote:CONGRATS Wilcosu35! That's a great robo. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Canadian homies, isn't Ages 3 and UP a Canadian shop? Are their prices and shipping any more reasonable, or is it the exchange rate that gets you every time?

Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:Just grabbed Tailgate and Groundbuster. Tailgate is pretty underwhelming, especially after having bought Skrapnel and Reflector. He's an alright little robot though. He'll look decent sitting in the background NOT sharing shelf space with Cyclonus.
Is it at all weird that I like Groundbuster more than Tailgate? I mean, there's nothing to him. He faceplants to transform, his weapon mode is stupid, and he's got insanely long arms. But I can't help but like the little guy the same way I like Micromasters.
