I'll be honest, I went to Chinatown L.A. looking for MP KOs. Didn't find any, but I found this. I never had any intention of going through the trouble of tracking this guy down. But when he's right there in front of you, whatcha gonna do?
I even wangled 'me down 10 bucks.
ClearlySane88 wrote:I really want to get an MP for myself. Not sure which one I want to look into getting first though.
Anyways, got a bit of a haul today.
Only two Dinobots left! Unfortunately, Scorn is going for quite a bit it seems like.
Pretty much all MP's from 08 to current (excluding 09) are amazing. If you're looking to test the waters, maybe try and find the upcoming TRU Bluestreak. But I'd recommend any of the ones I just said.ClearlySane88 wrote:I really want to get an MP for myself. Not sure which one I want to look into getting first though.

Good haul! I'm interested what you think of Lockdown, as I don't think he was well received. Personally I really enjoyed him though.
This is where video reviewers come in handy. Head to Youtube and search AOE SlogClearlySane88 wrote:As for Slog, I love his look to death in both Robot and Dino mode. Dude is a beast. But man, those ribs of his are a massive pain in the butt to get into position. I haven't been able to get him into Dino mode completely yet because of them. It's really frustrating and it's a shame since I love his looks so much. Haven't opened the other two, but I'll let you know my thoughts when I finish with them.

Worth the 20$US shipped? A thousand times yes!
ClearlySane88 wrote:What are those two from? I didn't catch the name in your post.

Beast Wars Neo Sabreback and Cohrada.

Nice! Unfortunately, the only thing I know from Beast Wars Neo are the really weird/funny looking ones (like Longrack and Break).

These are the Sonokong versions, meaning the South Korea ones. They are fully made and licenced by Takara. The only differences are the box and manuals.

And what an awesome box it is. If all TFs came in boxes like these, I wouldnt get rid of any (which is probably a good thing they dont, and it makes these all the more special).
-Kanrabat- wrote:So, I hum... trashed it in the recycling bin.
But at least, I kept the manuals and cards!
ClearlySane88 wrote:Realized I was actually missing a few RiD Transformers today, so I picked them up while I was out.
Bumblebee was surprisingly difficult to find. I know I checked at least four or five stores before I was able to find him at a Target across town. Steeljaw, however, I've seen all over the place, which is weird since he's the only Decepticon. Are kids just not picking up the villains in a toy line anymore?

Naah, Steeljaw is the figure that is maybe 2 or 3 times per cases, 2 waves in a row. We have a wolfpack at my local TrU as well.
What do you think of the figures? For me, appart the hefty price hike, I find this a pretty solid line overall. Except the fact that some figures have those weird hands-covers that don't transform away like W Strongarm and W Optimus.
What I think of the figures:
Steeljaw. The weakest, He got an interesting design and transformation. Unfortunately, you need his tail for him to stand and the way these arms are designed... scary...
Optimus. I love the guy and he's a lot of fun. His only fault is he don't scale with anything. In vehicle mode, he scale with the Cyberverse figures. In bot mode, he scale with the other deluxe Optimuses.
Bee is amazing. A perfect mold all over. Too bad the Hasbro version is so poorly painted. I have the Takara and it's perfect. A Reprolabels set exist for him, but it will double the price of your figure.
ClearlySane88 wrote:I'm actually really liking the line so far. Drift is far and away my number one pick though.
william-james88 wrote:So that would also be the case for Predaking, who is also six members.
