I think Streetwise saved that crummy mold. I'm super psyched for the Datsuns now, and you know they're my fav. But as cool as Streetwise is, Rook is by far my favorite Protectbot. The cool thing is, is that Hound and Swindle are such drastic re-shells, that Rook is kind of his own dude. So it's just like you said above.

I think Groove being a legends figure fits perfectly, even if I am in the company who prefer G1 accuracy. For some reason, I think Alpha Bravo would make an acceptable 5th member for Defensor, as he and Blades would fit as the 2 arms perfectly.

Finally! MISB $200 straight. Haven't even opened him up yet. I've owned MP-04, so I wonder how this one will stack up, in comparison. Very pleased (and quite lucky) to have this.

By MP-04, you mean the official MP-01 with his trailer, right? I have the MP-01 Last Shot and a KO trailer (the trailer still cost 120$!). You'll see how MP-10 will stack up with the original.

IMO, MP-10 is the superior one. Better accuracy, better engeneering, better truck mode. Still, MP-01 is a precious part of my collection for his imposing size and his MASSIVE ammount of diecast.

Not quite so mind blowing. I picked up these lil fellas today.

I had already found Cliffjumper at Dollar General. These two came from Family Dollar. What's the difference between those two stores, you ask? About 3/4 of a mile. :lol:

Yah, no sweet talkin' this time. The were $6.75 a pop. Although they didn't ring up again this time. The cashier went and looked. Oh well, you can't get lucky all the time.

MP-10 arrived today! I held off buying one because I had hoped they'd release one later without the trailer since that's just going to come out of the box once. They did it with MP-10A and 10B, but 10 just wasn't meant to be I guess. They'll probably do it now that I've bought one. Only came to around US$175 shipped from HLJ.

Also got the D-style Black Convoy kit in today. Looking forward to putting it together, the teal parts are all prepainted so there's really nothing to do but put it together. Also comes with Prime's jetpack in a separate bag properly molded in red and silver so that's great. The box is pretty phenomenal as always, too!

Oh yeah, Hasbro's PR sent me these the other day. Reviews by the end of the week. :grin:

Actually they just showed up with a letter this time, but I've spoken to the PR crew before. Hasbro is working super hard on getting people excited about Combiner Wars and they've been great with the press this year. I think they've finally realized the best way to promote this stuff is to get into the hands of people that can properly spread the word for them.

It's the TRU version. I opened it. It's really really great. Slightly warped parts, but still really fantastic.

Glad you like him. My Asia release has a few little issues. The windshield/chest has gap that won't stay closed in robot mode, and the panels that form his shins were a bear to get clipped in right, but he is still a fantastic Optimus toy.
So what do you think of 10 compared to 4?
