So even though I'm not part of the "cool kids" and my posts are often over looked or ignored ... I'm still gonna say, found myself a TR Galvatron.

Nice to see they're finally making they're way around the country (more so after we received Fortress Maximus before the rest of the world)

Galvatrin is one I'm actually wanting more and more as I see more and more pics.

Alas, even after more than a 900 mile road trip and no less than 17 different toy selling store stops, I have yet to see anything other then Wave 1 deluxe's and 2 fort maxes at my home town Toys R Us. I am the disappoint.

But that always happens in the first month. Hasbro said we would only see maturity in the fall, I think they were dead on.

I'm glad you missed it. I hope you can just enjoy the toy for what it is. Despite the goofiness of the mask (which doesn't bother me), he's a fun toy with cool alt modes.

Yes ... yes you shall. I like to think all the venting I did to my girlfriend finally paid off.

Or because I went hunting on my own without her ... maybe she was bad luck.

Regardless, it IS a good figure with two complaints.

The "Titan Master" gimmick. For once, the gimmick doesn't restrict a figure, aside from him not being able to actually turn his head. That being said, it's a pointless gimmick. Not the whole "Galvatron was never a headmaster!" argument, but rather that the gimmick actually does NOTHING. I have no doubt that this guy, when Takara retool and release him with an attached head for the 40th anniversary of the movie, will sell out quickly and become highly sought after.

The other complaint, and this is a small complaint ... I would rather attach his cannon to the side of his arm rather than the front. Hell ... I'd like to see a blend with his Energon incarnation and have two cannons, one for each arm.

I'm likely going to find a way to get Scourge, Galvatron and CW Cyclonus after my check gets deposited. Whether in person or online is what remains to be seen at this point.

Fair enough then. I kind of want to try it myself actually, but I might hold off until I know for sure. Really the two different purples might annoy my OCD.

I see. I saw TFormers.com post a review about the figure and subsequently about the fragility of Nucleon when I was checking around about it. They mentioned taking the screw out of the center of it to prevent further breaking basically. Only Hasbro.

I love the way Titan masters actually connect in a sturdy enough...connection. I just really hate how well it doesn't look on Galvs. The whole head should have been Galvatron, rather than a mask that doesn't sit flush or MOVE AT ALL. Good idea, poor execution. Great toy nonetheless.

Decided to buy online today seeing how I'm having some issues with getting out of the house today to try to do my shopping run. I eventually will, I'm just feeling off right now due to my mental illness, which is being inconvenient at the moment.

That said this is my haul:

- Robots in Disguise Warrior Class Megatronus
- Titans Return Galvatron and Nucleon
- Titans Return Scourge and Fracas
- Combiner Wars Cyclonus

And now to wait for it all to get here. Should take about a week from now or so.

I went to TRU today and saw the Alt-modes for sale. So I spent about 5 minutes in the aisle trying to peer into the tiny hole at the bottom of a few of them to find out which one was Megatron, I was unable to pin-point it exactly. So I left without one. They were about 7-8 bucks or so. I decided to wait for the moment. I may try later though. I went ahead after and did some adult'ing of sorts. Got groceries and such. I spent more than I intended, but eh.

Personally I want to go back and find a better way to inspect the alt-modes so I can get a Megatron. I just looked pretty weird in the TRU aisle way shaking it and trying to peer inside. Heh. Also noted I actually was more justified to make my purchases online due to the lack of options there for TFs. Bunch of CW Deluxes still, five Skywarps, and like one Motormaster. Absolutely no Titans Return. I was surprised to see the Alt-Modes there though.

Because I'm sentimental, I looked at the Jurassic World toys as well. Nothing new there sadly. I know the new hybrids coming and it's just a bunch of repaints and retools on already bad sculpts so I might skip 'em. I love dinosaurs, but the JW toys I feel like were extremely low quality, which is unfortunate because I loved the Kenner lines for the first and second movie when they came out.

Titans Return has finally arrived in Canberra! Spotted most of Wave 1 in Toys R Us, all the Legends and Titanmasters (Maybe even some Wave 2 Titanmasters) but only Blurr was left of the deluxes (No Voyagers or Leaders in sight). Picked up Rewind, he's pretty good except for the chunky forearms.

I may need help identifying the weapons. I know the dark purple one is for G1 Astrotrain as I had that figure as a kid. I suspect the light purple one is from G1 Thunderwing? Don't know about the others.

EDIT: Black gun is from Prime Arcee. Cool. It's a cool gun with choice of two handles and a port under the barrel too. I'll keep that and give it to another character.

And I got some more stuff at the thrift shop. Like movie wreckage, Prime Cyberverse Bulkhead, Wheeljack and Flamewar along with one step RID Sideswipe... all for $1.50.

Also snagged a loose Beast Wars Alligator version of Megatron (solo, no Primal and comic) that was complete with his gun and under 10 dollars. Very pleased with this find and looking forward to adding him to my shelf.
