But I'm also pleased to say I finally got a TR Triggerhappy now - boy was that a chore to find.

And yes wave 1 and 2 of the Capsule Microns were sold in the UK _ I have both kinds and they seem to be identical to my Japanese ones.
They sometimes have them on the tills in TRU-UK and some discount stores had them in with the blind bag figures too. we also got blind bagged Minicons too... though some of them were remoulded or repainted and thus unique. Like the Helicopter had folding blades for example and the monster truck & Dragon was a unique colour.

Cambridge Toys R Us had several TR Triggerhappys and all discounted to £12.49 like the rest of that wave.
And yeah strange to think that still in this age the UK sometimes gets Transformers toys the US doesn't. I know it happened a lot towards the end of G1. But then the US got loads of earlier ones we didn't. Shockwave, Swoop, Fort Max, Trypticon, loads of pretenders.... bah...
Kurona wrote:My favourite part of the toys the UK didn't get in G1 was that we didn't get Roadbuster or Whirl.
So those two only got stories advertising their toys in the country they specifically did not get a release in.

The tfwikis says "His large fighter cannons swing up to the sides of his arms in robot mode, but the hinges aren't strong enough to deal with their weight, so they have a tendency to flop down." But not on this one. In fact almost every joint and hinge on the figure is pretty stiff. Even hurt my finger prising apart the toe and heel parts of one of the feet when changing him back from spaceship to robot again and those large cannons don't flop down even when shaking the figure. Is it worth much or does everyone just buy the Titans one now? I mean there are still G1 toy collectors even when there's a superior modern version of a toy right?

The G1 versions went for quite a bit, upper 2-figure range at most. Don't know if the Titans Return line made that market collapse, but nostalgia is a powerful weapon.

I'm looking forward for the TR leader Thunderwing because the original G1 toy is in serious need of "collapsing". Jeez, 300$CAN+ minimum for a 100% complete one in good shape...

Well, time to go the 3P route.

I don't want that TR Leader mold as Thunderwing anyways. Way too big and I don't like the split altmode thing. But that recent 3rd party Thunderwing is far too wing-kibbly for me. They seem to be more based on the IDW monster rather than the awesome Marvel Decepticon leader/matrix obssessive.
Don't think I'm ever gonna find the perfect voyager class Thunderwing I want for my collection. Closest thing I can have is properly a custom.
-Kanrabat- wrote:I'd really like that G.O.D. Thunderstorm and that unexpected "berzerk mode" is awesome asfak. But holy crap I don't have 200$ for this. I'm skipping most recent MP figures because I'm tired to spend a ton of cash for a single figure only to get some heavy buyer remorse.
Oh well.

It's not weird, in fact Optimus Prime has the same thing. I think it's the style for Wave 3 onwards. Not understanding why everyone is so surprised, the CW and TR Wave 1 & 2 boxes all had Autobot symbols regardless of affiliation of the characters.

I had this happen once a couple years ago! I was hiking with some friends at a local park, and I found a Micromaster Roughstuff figure half-buried at the head of a trail. It was the oddest thing ever.

Just the figure, or the trailer too?
...and did you take it?
