Had a day in the Collectors store today!

Roadbuster, Brimstone, and Ricochet came from a shelf. The rest? They came from a massive bin with so many loose figures of all types. I dug though it for 2 hours, gradually putting pieces of figures together, and kept those that were either very close to completion or were complete. Whole thing ended up being just a smidge more than a current Leader class figure.

So I ended up with:

DotM Roadbuster - Complete. finally got this guy after watching for a good complete one off and on for a while. So glad, I love the Wreckers.
G1 Reissue Ricochet - Love me some Targetmasters, and I got a G1 one! Although he was missing an accessory (missiles I think?) but came with 2 more pieces the box didn't advertise including a large shoulder missile launcher.
Move Brimstone - Complete, he was too cool to pass on.
Universe 2003 Spy Changer Jazz - really cool, main toy only
RiD2001 W.A.R.S - body only, didn't even think about him being a TF until I saw the bot symbol. Took me a while to figure out who he was.
Destructicon Drone - It was cool, and I decided to finally get my PCC Crankcase that I got last year figure only some limbs.
McD's Animated Bumblebee - cause cute and I love Animated
Movie Beachcomber - missing windshield and guns, but still a good looking guy who gets away with no shield a bit.
BW Snapper - got him Complete!
BW Lazorbeak - missing right foot and arm
BW Razorbeast - One that I really did want to find, missing his gun, but still good as is.
BW Optimus Primal - missing right arm and weapon
BW Wolfang - Missing missiles, shield, and tail. But he was in 5 pieces that took an hour to put together, so I was not giving up on him.
BW Noctorro - Complete!
BW Armordillo - Missing rear beast feet and 1 mace, but he came with the other
BW Ignuanus - missing tail
BW Terrorsaur - missing both legs, but can do beast mode
BW Transmetal Waspinator - missing 1 small wing and parts to 3 beast legs
BW Buzzsaw - also in a lot of pieces and put together, so not giving up, needs lower right leg and beast parts
G2 Bonecrusher and Scavenger - figures only.
Also picked up a few spare weapons from the bin.




On a side note, anyone know where these heads came from?

Thats a good Beast Wars haul even if most are missing important parts. Optimus Primal and K9/Wolfang are easily the best ones. I really want those 2 myself along with rattrap and TM Rattrap and Silverbolt.

Nice BW haul, D-Max! While it’s a shame that most of them are missing some pieces, I’m sure with enough patience you can get them completed by buying individual pieces or parts lots off eBay. Might take a while, but it’d be worth it. Most of those toys are a ton of fun.

And nice job on finding that Brimstone. He’s been on my radar for a while.

Yeah, I was really happy to get some complete, and I figured I could hunt down the missing pieces! Be a nice long term project, and only 3 are really suffering for robot mode, so they're ok for now.

I was surprised to see Brimstone and Roadbuster, but I gladly accepted both. And they are both really nice!

You aren't missing much. They look OK, but they're very simple and the plastic is very "soapy" so the ball joints wear quickly and even grind a bit. There are a few neat ones like Gigano Dragon who has one of the most unique transformations you'll ever find and a really cool Beast Megatron-esque sculpt (love that head sculpt!), but suffers from limited articulation.

Wow, now that is a snake!

I finally decided to get a Siege Hound.
The bot is absolutely perfect! However, I was baffled by the simple looking transformation. I had to look up the manual because I had no idea what to do with the arms. Once I "duh'd", I completed the transformation and man, what a SOLID dude!

I think he's worth paying a bit more to get that ToyHax upgrade set.

I got the DSA roof/gun shield instead.
THEN added NONNEF missile & pistol

Got a nice Marshall/Winners haul. And it's not even for me, but for my combiner loving friend.

2 PotP Moonracer, one PotP Nightwing, one legend Bug Bumblebee and one legend '80s Barricade.

Both Moonracers will be customised for his special combiners down the line.

Got two big boxes in from Target this week, both somehow managed to show up a day late. These were from the gift card deal the other week, the first box and an in store purchase earned me $35 to spend on the second box which then earned me another $25 that I'm holding on to for later.

I was concerned about Rail Racer, I bought him back in the latter half of April, and the seller took his sweet ass time shipping. Learned from a few other people in the Facebook group he had gotten really bad with shipping, so it took some effort to get him here. He shipped and did a circle back to the seller too, so it was also part USPS trouble.

Got him for a pretty dang cheap price too, and the only thing he's missing are Rail Spike and Midnight's guns, but for the price that's really good.

He is imposing and stellar, gonna enjoy diving into him

Emerje - wow! Sweet Siege haul!!

D-Max - More BW Neo toys! I feel like we’re both on the same quest! Your newest acquisitions are quite a bit cooler than mine though. I missed out on a good deal for Saw Edge and Hardheaded Vs pack the other month. Still stings.

Oof. I went a little overboard this month. Found some awesome deals, but still. The packages have started trickling in. Here’s what’s come so far this week.

Awesome deals on Sideswipe and Ravage. I think they wound up being $11 each? I love this black Ravage way better than the deco of him I already owned. Plus one of his hip mounted guns hangs limp. So it’s nice to have a Ravage that’s fully capable. This Sideswipe mood surprised the hell out of me. I really like it. I had to take out my Side Arm and SS Sideswipe for comparisons. They each have their strong and weak points, but I think I appreciate all of them even more now. Especially SS Sideswipe, which I kinda thought I hated. Turns out I don’t. While neither of the three molds, which are all radically different, are perfect they all still manage to do their own thing in their own way.

Torca’s left foot immediately snapped. So I had to do some repairs. He’s fine now, but I always seem to forget about GPS.

Dinky packages! Backfire and Airhammer are just dandy, Chopsaw is pretty awesome. I just wish his legs had some more articulation, so he could pose better. I’ve got quite the little motorcycle collection going now though,

My BW Neo VS packs arrived, so now my main cast is nearly complete. All four of these guys are just fine. I actually thought I wouldn’t like Sling, but I do. Stampy is probably my favorite of the four. Break is easily the worst. I like Dead End a lot, but more than any of them I wish his short comings weren’t so glaring. I can overlook them though.

And as for the SS figures...I’ve never been so happy to have been so wrong. Firstly, I got them for decent prices on Target, and got a gift card. So that’s a bonus, but as for the figures themselves, I hadn’t actually planned to get them. The more I saw images of them, the worse I thought they’d be. I expected them both to be clunky and unarticulated. But after seeing some fellow Seibertronians talk them up forum, I decided to gamble. They’re both pretty amazing figures. Certainly not perfect, but amazing nevertheless. Mad Max Megatron isn’t nearly as gangly and boxy as he looks in images. And he’s highly posable. Transformation is super involved, but I like it. I wouldn’t mind seeing if someone like DNA came out with some upgrades though. And Rampage is just so solid and well balanced. He’s a ton of fun. I just wish his arms had some more articulation, seeing as how he’s a legless bot.

In the end, after transforming them both back and forth a few times, I don’t think I could recommend either of them more. Especially to anyone who was feeling deadset against them, like I was. They’re completely worth buying,


Just waiting for Encore Big Convoy and a bevy of movie toys to arrive next week.

Maybe them, and some American Beasts, will be found at TFcon this October. That's what I'm gonna primarily hunt there.

Yeah, always wanted a Big Convoy. Really I wanted a Nemesis Prime back when it was a Target Exclusive Universe figure. But the time I saw him at Target I passed on him. Always kicked by self for it.

Have a lot of unboxing to do this weekend.

Also picked up Platinum Edition Year of Monkey Primal for $38 from Amazon. Can't beat that price.

Thanks to the Toys R Us sale, I'm finally getting some Siege Transformers. None of them were worth full price in my eyes but at 25% off, don't mind if I do.



Megs and Shockwave are pretty boss. Shockwave is especially impressive. It's a voyager with an upgrade kit. But it's a work of art and don't feel cheap in hand.



Hound wanted a pet after that Ravage encounter. Now he have Sword Dogo. Even though Hound is no fencer.



As for the evil jets micromasters, they are now part of Trypticon's team.



Oh, and yes, I managed to get myself a sweet raincheck. Just in case some new toys bother to show up in the following weeks.
