That makes sense, thats when he was released by the online retailers and first appeared in stores alongside Sywarp. We have no indication that these releases were meant to be synchronized. The wave 3 Legions came out before the deluxes too.

I didn't expect them to be synchronized, but...

Maybe it's just my memory playing tricks on me, but I don't recall the gaps in wave 2 or 3 being as long.

Picked up Beast Wars Optimus Primal used at my local comic shop. Paid $15. He's flat out fun. The arm swing gimmick, the guns deployed from the forearm=awesome.

Ultra Primal (whatever variant) is oodles and hours of fun. Was he complete? I mean, you can live without the missiles, but I hope you have his mace and swords.

On topic of hauls and hunting, I'm actually giddy with the prospect of finding CW Wave 4 and TRU's MP Screamer, especially after getting Wave 3 and thinking my hunting was mostly done for the year.

He's def not complete. Missing, the mask, mace, and his swords. I outfitted him w 2 TF Prime Voyager OP swords and the 2 javelin/sword weapons that came with voyager AOE Slog.

Ok so lessons learned. So far, Hasbro has been very good in sending me replacement items. Sometimes it was exactly what I wanted and sometimes it was a good alternative (especially when they let me keep my defective item). But man, oh...

So a swivel broke on a toy I had gotten (Generations Sandstorm). I could not return my toy since I had bought it off an individual as part of a set. It was recent enough that I asked Hasbro if I could exchange it with them. They said they would send me something of equal value and I could keep my now broken toy. So I waited and waited and finally today I get this box:




What?????

It came with two letters one saying that there was nothing in their warehouse left (of Transformers??) and their supplier was late and thus they had to give me something else but of similar value. It wasnt the game of life, this was in the box:



So yeah, when Hasbro says equal value, it can mean anything at all. Including this in exchange of a voyager:



I did get another package today though, as you can tell from the other box. It also came with an interesting letter:







So all in all, this wasnt so bad. And I was able to fix my Sandstorm with crazy glue.

Thanks man! Back atcha! That ape is probably one of my top 3 favorite TFs to play with. Mine is destroyed. I've played with that guy so much, I lost the mask! He's my Buzz... No, he's my Woody!

TlDr, got some random stuff from Hasbro.

You were really lucky that Hasbro was not adamant about you sending back Sandstorm to them. For me the random stuff they sendt you wasnt even worth the postage price alone. I mean, "TF Angry Birds Jenga". WUT? More random than that, and you get crushed under a tartant patterened grand piano that fell off a hummingbird's beack while you were doing the "pinguin dance" down the streets!

Yeah, at least they were kind enough to send me something. Still, it means that their local warehouse is completely out of stock for Generations toys, which I guess is a good sign.

Also, that is Grimlock, thought Trypticon would have been a much better choice.

And I already gave my feedback on alt megs to Kanrabat, here it is:

j'ai eu Alternity Megatron et je ne suis pas un grand fan. A 70$, c'est pas beaucoup de jouet. La transformation est rafraichissant pour quelquechose qui a l'aire si complex mais j'aime pas le mode robot. Ces épaule sont trop coincé, ces jambe sont trop faible et petite et je n'avais pas réalisé qu'il y avait un carré derrièere sa tête.

Meilleur que les seekers c'est sure, mais pas quelque chose d'exrtraordinaire non plus.

It says I am not the biggest fan, especially for 70$, since it doesnt give you a lot of toy. The alt mode is gorgeous and it has an interesting transformation but I dont really like the robot mode. The legs are weak and odd looking, the shoulders too constricting and I cannot believe I never saw in any picture that his head was stuck to a square. I guess I just always confused it with the background. But I do enjoy transforming him more than almost every other alternators or alternity toy (Decepticharge/windcharger/overdrive/arcee is still the best alternators mold). I do like the samurai design though he wont go on any list aside from being an honourable mention if ever that happens. What do you think about the mold?

Personally, I do love Alternity Megatron. One of the best around. Sure, the legs feel a bit weak for posing, but it's a common Alternity flaw. The head on a square thing is no biggie either. It's a clever way to hide it as the engine in car mode. Beside, Optimus Prime have it too. Megatron is especially sexy in red and black and he feel even more like a bad-ass samurai than the GDO repaint of ROTF voyager Bludgeon.

My only gripe is I feel I overpaid 15$US for it. 62$US shipped was a bit much. At 40-something total, it would have been fair. Oh well, I had to pay the "late fees" I guess. I had worst buyer remorses than this.

To those inquiring minds, it all started with an aimless jaunt around town. Me and a buddy were beer'ing it on a patio and afterwords went for a walk. We stumbled upon a store I hadn't been to since I was a kid and was surprised to see even still existed. This real hole in the wall kinda place had a lot of random old toy/comic stuff but nothing too thrilling. Aside from mister God Neptune of course. Now, Shaki wouldn't need much convincing, but Shaki with a couple pints in him needed NO convincing

Best of the Defensor limbs IMO.
Pulled in a Takara MP Rodimus. BTW the loose MP Rodimus' on eBay are legit. I can confirm stress marks around mouth so get your paint brush ready. Leg panel has screws and there is a weak point on "trunk" backpack seen in reviews of version 1. I think he runs $140+ on eBay, but if you are on FB contact Manolo and grab one at $130 bypassing eBay fees...it's the same guy. Also grabbed an MP Sunstorm, MP Thundercracker and for CW I snatched up a Rook, Streetwise and First Aid. Passed on Hotspot and Blades as I've already have Alpha Bravo and the 3 limbs were bought for CW Optimus. Alpha Bravo is the 4th limb. Superion is displayed G1 correct.

I keep putting the Protectobots off as well. I've had the vinyl bug lately. Ordered a Loyal Subjects wave 3 figure and ended up with Long Haul. Pretty sweet! Ordered 2 more blind boxes.
