Not exactly. See below how the arms for BH soundwave are a black piece extending outside of the wings:

I have both and am looking at them now. His forearms are two pieces, and the retool only replaces the one closer to the elbow, rather than the one with the hand on it.

But I think I might have misunderstood you earlier. Was it vehicle mode or robot mode of regular Soundwave that you dislike?

Yeah, I am pretty sure we misunderstood eachother. I dont dislike any, I was just saying how the BH retool has its pros, and how its forearms were completely retooled. That was pretty much it.

Ok a nice haul:

Ledaer Ironhide MOSC (great mold, but I wish the kibble was distributed more evenly between his forearms and legs, that's my only nitpick).

Energon Shockblast (wave) complete (excellent triple changer)

And RID Air Attack Optimus Primal complete. When I saw how much the worst deco'd platinum one would sell for buying this one became a no brainer.

I also got something else, but I will wait for his friends to come one day and show you them all together

Here's a hint, its more expensive than anyone guessed or that anyone would be willing to pay. More expensive than a brand new mint, in package RID Air Attack Primal from 15 years ago. More expensive than the Platinum Dinobots set.

...well aside from Kanrabat who sold it to me.

Even then, predaking only went down 30$, and at 100$ he is more than worth it. Primal is worth 50$ but at this price a heavy liquidation would only leave him at 70$ which is still insane.

And Kanrabat does have some nice stuff but I couldnt fathom how much it would have cost to ship the haul I bought today to the states. :shock:

I felt the urge again for more plastic ... probably because I went back to work today and got hit with a shit-tonne of problems. To my surprise, they were on special!

So I picked up TF:RiD Deluxe Bumblebee.

I waited 2 weeks to post this, because I wanted everything to arrive so I can fully enjoy them.

Through a trade I acquired Masterpieces Starscream, Soundwave, Sunstorm, Thundercracker and KFC Citizen Stack. Very happy with all of them.

I also acquired Daca Toys Kronos, and I am very happy with the figure. He's pretty much what a MP Jetfire should be.

Then I bought the CW Stunticon limbs to go with CW Cyclonus. (I don't like Motormaster, so I didn't get him.) Very cool. Then I got all the Aerialbots, including Powerglide, Quickslinger and Alpha Bravo, and just finished putting Superion together. Pretty damn cool figure. In the meantime, all the Protectobots arrived in the mail, in addition to CW Prowl. I'm using Prowl as an extra Protectobot, and he and Streetwise are Defensor's legs. I really like Rook, especially the oversized hands, so much so that I didn't even make him a part of Defensor. As for Defensor himself, I am very impressed. No pictures or reviews I have seen do this guy justice. He's solid, bulky, and just intimidating. My favorite combiner so far. I'm really looking forward to Bruticus now.

Speaking of the devil, I finally received First Aid, Streetwise, and Groove from Amazon. Because of the exchange rate and shipping costs, it cost me a full priced deluxe more than if I would have bought them in store locally with taxes. Nevertheless, Defensor is FINALLY complete and I think it's the best regular combiner so far.

So somehow I lost track of this thread for about a week. I've been wondering why I've been experiencing withdrawals.

Congrats on all the great hauls everyone.

Speaking of which, I've been working on a BBTS PoL for the last six months. They finally made me ship the dang thing. I've been picking up random stuff on sale or when something tickled my fancy. So I decided to do something special.

"Scone" jumped in at the last second. That bugger is from amazon, but same week, so I guess that counts.

Defensor look amazing! And he dosent care about the top shelf's dust!

I consider my combiner display finally complete! Once again, G1 Predaking dosent look out of place among modern CW combiner. Predaking is defenitely the BEST G1 combiner IMO.
