Latest haul includes:

• Sega Genesis Megatron
• Battle Core Optimus Prime
• CW Sunstreaker
• CW Ironhide
• Deployer Drift and Slipstream (which I got both for a grand total of $.90 with $20 in suprise points from Kmart)
• TF Go! Judora

Is it REALLY the GENESIS Megatron? The very limited one? Or the more mundane Mega Drive? Either way, it's a great toy. But if you managed to find a GENESIS, man, that was quite the find!

BBTS has them in stock for $120. It's taking all kinds of will power to not buy one. I know BBTS isn't a very good option for you though.

Sure wish Nintendo would let them make a bot out of the NES or SNES... one can dream I suppose.

Prowl is another one that is tempting me to brake the no repaint rule.....

Just curious, do you consider Prowl to be a repaint of only Streetwise or of dead end as well? I used to have a one toy per general mold rule but with combiner wars it changed to one toy per retool.

However there are some collections that are straight up one toy per character, such as the movies. I am glad to say I only have 1 movie bumblebee for all 4 films Can't say the same for prime though but man, he got so many good molds in the films.

Honestly, it's more of a boycott type thing for me. I'm tired of fairly big characters getting lazy repaints because Hasbro is greedy and lazy.

I got myself Legion Fixit today. I wasnt fond of having to pay 7.92$ for a legion class figure but I figured this would be the one that would be hardest to find later if I wait for a clearance price. Unlike every other figure in this class, this character actually needs to be in this size to complete the semblance the cast in scale. I was a bit dissapointed at first due to the limiting elbow articulation but the plastic on this guy is great. For a moment, I wondered if he was more like a commander or scout like figure since he didnt feel cheap and static like the Prime Legion figures. Turns out he is the same size (photo below). Yet it really feels like you are getting more toy with this guy. His face dissapearing is pretty cool and he rolls fine. I like this little guy.

And here he is in comparison to other small figures. Scotty P was right, the Generations Legends toys are indeed quite smaller than the scout toys of old. They have more in common (toy wise) to the Prime commander class.

Glad to hear you like Fixit. He is easily one of my favorites of the line and that includes warriors. He really is like a legion sized warrior figure.

The only thing id change on him is his drill hands. I wish he had them lil 3 finger toy crane claws.

Paid full price at the local Walmart, but you know what? Being a last wave figure, he's well worth it (my wife liking Stegosauruses helps), really love the guy. Plus, I got to chat a little with two fellow collectors. That was just icing on the cake. Should have exchanged contact info now that I think about it...

My local Walmart had the AOE deluxes on clearance for a few weeks at 10$CAN. They were that price until no stock was left at all.

Of course, I got my Snarl WAY before that and at full price too. No regrets at all either because he's one of the BEST dinobots.

Just in case you don't know, forget to store the axe weapon as a dorsal fin. Instead, fill the underbelly like so:



If you do it right, it will hold by itself. Cool, eh?

I did check the Clearance section, but Walmart is pretty spotty with when to put what. Plus, I didn't want to chance missing out on him. The only other possibilities were Ross and TJ Maxx, but didn't find anything there, aside from Hot Shots, Contruct-Bots and Kre-O.

The move, that's why. Plus, do you have any idea how expensive Transformers are in Europe?! Around $25-$30 converted a pop for a Deluxe, the guy I chatted with was cringing! Also, Generations did not move beyond Wave 1 in the Netherlands, so all we got was Scorn, Slug and both Grimlocks.

About finding the rest, uhm... AoE has all but been cleaned out in my area, aside from the odd Crosshairs and his blue buddy.

Boy is distribution weird. OK, so I had an unfortunate experience buying a smash and change optimus for cheap, who turned out to be missing a few parts. So I asked Hasbro what they could do for me, I would be happy with whatever they sent my way considering how cheap I payed for that Optimus. Once again, it was quite interesting. Firstly, this was the box what they sent me shipped in:



Star Wars Chess set??? I had a Game of Life box last time but the contents was never released angry birds merch so what could this be?



Turns out it was TWO Titan Changers: Optimus and BUmblebee. That's awesome and confusing because so far these have never been released at brick and mortar retail and the only place to get them so far is Amazon US. And yet these come from their distribution warehouse here in Quebec. So this is completely unexpected and I am probably the only person in Montreal to have these, Not that they are worth bragging about but these are great conpensations for a faulty Smash and Change Prime. I had gotten that Prime for when my daughter would be 1-2 and these are perfect replacements. A lot lighter too. Also, Bee's vehicle mode is really fun for kids and quite nice (if unpainted). Dont know when these will be released in Canada (if ever).

I just got a Henkei Astrotrain and I ordered a Big Convoy coming in the mail. I also bought a BW Cheetor and a ebay lot with a few Primes and Primals. BW transmetal Primal, Beast Tracker Prime, and Leo Prime. Got that last one for $13 so I'm ok with it.
Need to stop buying and start saving for TFcon.

Pirate dude is very nice looking in bot mode, but the transformation is baffling. I had to refer to the instruction to know what was going on with the front legs! The beast mode is also disapointing. I didnt pay that much but it was still 40$ total. At least the bot mode's coolness compensate.

As for Ultra Magnus, WHAT A WORK OF ART! I realy don't regret having paid 15$CAN more than the full local price for all those extra paint aps and richer colors. Both modes are amazing and it was pretty fun to figure out how to transform the guy without instructions. Truly marvelous engeneering! Any TF fan MUST have a Leader Ultra Magnus. I can't find any flaw to complain about. Really! Hasbro or Takara, this is one of the BEST TF to come out in 2015. Hands down.
