Great find on Scorponok! I never find anything worthwhile at thrift and secondhand stores, it's usually all broken dolls and fastfood toys. I watch a guy on YouTube that has a video series of himself going around thrift stores buying cool stuff (mostly old PC games and electronics) and it just makes me sad.

About 10 years ago I did get a good deal on an incomplete Scorponok body similar to the one you got with the missing doors and ramps for something like $60 on eBay. I bought it blindly (the seller had posted no pictures), but what arrived was in great shape with no paint issues on the chest and all of the stickers intact and looking good. I used it to replace the body of my childhood Scorponok which was complete, but had been heavily played with over the years and slightly discolored. I'm still holding onto the old body for parts since the replacement recently had the left shoulder's outward extending ratchet loose its spring so it's all floppy.

As for my own hauls, nothing too special, but my Adventures Windblade arrived the other day. Bot mode looks great, but I'm not crazy about the alt mode and she isn't exactly a shining example of RID transformation complexity. I'll keep her next to Thunderhoof to balance things out. :-P

Oh, and I finally picked up TR Hardhead, he's one heck of a cool figure. I was really surprised by how intuitive his transformation is. It's the little things like how his fists fold out or how his legs tuck into the tank that make him great.

Technically just shipped today from Japan. RK shipping prices sucked so I looked for one in Japan. Will update y'all though. But as reference, I'll be comparing him to Lambor as I did not get the original Alert.

It's payday so I decide to reward myself by going to the TrU.

TF SALE! Unfortunately, nothing interesting. I was about to buy a RID Warrior Power Surge Optimus Prime when I had a second tought and left it on the peg. I went to the other end of the TrU, in the BABY section, to see if there was any interesting Rescue Bots on sale by any chances.

Well, I found something that I did not even know it existed!
Optimus Prime with RACING trailer! Blurr included! For 37$CAN + taxes!

That little boy on the box that is happy like a million buks is me.

Sure, Optimus have no hands, the trailer partform, and the bots are one-step bricks. But who care when they are so much fun and look so nice? :shock:

And the vehicle mode... Man, how freaking cool is that?

Optimus in truck mode roll badly unfortunately. However, Blurr roll like a charm and the trailer's car launching gimmick work perfectly. I'm pretty sure it would be a GREAT introduction to Transformers for any young kid. :APPLAUSE:

Yup, the price. I scored him for $100 whereas the Takara is well near $200. I'd always prefer Takara but not for that big of a price difference.

I like it too. Its a bit fiddly with the wings but I do like a nice complex transformation and it is satisfying. The waist on your starscream is tighter than the one on your Thundercracker right?

Just got my first MP, got MP-06 Hasbro Bluestreak. He's awesome, the MP's are a lot different than I thought they would be. I would've gotten G2 Bumblebee but Bluestreak was marked down to $50 AUS.

Y'know, after I finally got Bruticus and Defensor and Victorion - and Offroad so Alpha Bravo can have his boyfriend - I thought that for me, the Combiner Wars were over.

And then I just had to find that one of these were near me

But MAN, this store is bizarrely organised. Like. They basically just threw a bunch of toys on the shelves with no rhyme or reason; it's almost as bad as my bookshelves.

So naturally trying to find anything in that lot was difficult... but wait? What's this?

Why yes I am! For stacked here in these shelves is Sky bloody Lynx, the most hard-to-find and overpriced CW dude on the net.

Oh and this rare elusive scalped-to-heck Voyager costs about the same as TRU are charging for Stripes. That's a beautiful bonus.

So yeah, of course I bought the dragonkitty. They didn't have the TR leaders unfortunately, though I wouldn't have bought them anyway - no space for any of them but Overlord. They also had CW Legends Skywarp but wasn't too crazy about getting him, and also Deployer Fracture with his mini-cons but I care little for Fracture, even less for his mini-cons and even less for the Deployer gimmick so that was a pass.

I also ended up picking up Weirdwolf at the Entertainer. Pics of him and Sky Lynx later but right now? I pulled an all-nighter and I've got some shopping to put away. And I need me a rest from all that goddamn walking...

I... completely failed to notice that while I was there. Gosh, I must be more tired than I thought...

But that's the packaging for TR Leaders, so it'll either be Blaster or Powermaster Prime. Even for £25 which they're going for there I still wouldn't have got them - I'd love to get my hands on those molds, but issues of space

- but I'm still really annoyed I didn't see it lmao.

Fixed that for you, they are actually the exact same store but have different names for legal purposes.

I was actually silly wondering about this, I have noticed that Thundercrackers torso section doesn't like to lock down into his waist. It very easily slides upward. Is that what you're referring to?
