How do you like Ratchet, Dmax? I'm interested in getting him but saw a video review and was rethinking it.

Had a few boxes sitting at my front door Monday containing:

Adventure Nemesis Prime
Legends Wheelie
Legends Rewind
figma Shizuo Heiwajima

Looks like everyone is getting Nemesis Prime. This is my first figure to use the new mold and it's really great! I'm not a big fan of light piping in eyes, but the way it's used in his body along with the wings is done to great effect. The only thing I would have preferred is if the ax was also molded red.

Wheelie is a fun figure. I was a little worried when people said the TR version didn't hold together well, but Takara Tomy's is pretty sturdy once you get every single connection in place at once. Very happy with this one and the Go Shooter/Shuta Go head is a very nicely painted bonus.

Rewind isn't so bad either, though I'm still planning on getting the Hasbro version since it has a more popular face. Just need to remember to pop the gun out of his arm before going into robot mode. Nightbeat is pretty great, especially for a character that Takara has never released before.

If you want to get technical, Minerva had a mail-away release in Japan with colours that made her identical to Nightbeat. You can easily argue that they're releasing this as a reference to that toy.

Sure, but this just says "Nightbeat", one word and no Minerva. Plus the comic isn't trying to pass it off as Minerva either, in fact he even pulls his detective shtick at the end.

I can't speak for D, but in my area the walmart stores (all 7 of them) are full of this wave.

I don't think I'd ever want to live somewhere with that many local Walmarts. I'm very content living on a dirt road in a small town where the two local Walmarts are 12 miles north and south of me.

Haven't had much time with him yet Skram. I got to transform him into vehicle mode and fiddle a bit but that's about it. I can give you some more thoughts tonight maybe though (you subscribed to the RiD thread? I can do it there so as not to clog this thread up)

There are 3 walmarts within a 40 minute drive of me. I scored this one at the one I never go to, special circumstances. And it was the only one to have these guys so far. The other 2 are still holding the Quillfire wave.

Wheeljack will no longer be alone. I can combine him and these lads with Optimus or Sky Lynx. And I kinda needed them seeing as how the other versions of these guys were turned into Maximals, so I needed them as Autobot again

Nope. I got them at HTS with that $10 off $40 or more purchase. so they ended up coming out to about $11 a piece.

However, I can definitely tell these cases were sitting around for a long time. Ironhide's case was actually already halfway falling off, and Prowls was not only halfway off, but it split from top to bottom. And they were coated in dust

Got myself Generations Hoist, I never had the mold before and for $5 I said why not. Its fine. Nothing great. It reminds me that I really didnt like that plastic they used in the Generations line from FOC right up until Combiner Wars. The lack of paint apps, visible head and thingamagic high above the roof is also not great. What I find super odd though is that there is a nice sculpted abdominal piece that you never see aside from when transforming him. Odd but kinda cool, like the inner workings of the robot that you only catch a glimpse of while going from one mode to the next.

Yeah, first I've heard of G2 box sets being at TJM. Menasor was the only set I'd seen there and I almost missed him sitting on the top shelf as I was so focused on looking for Voyager boxes (thy only had about five each of Scattershot and Onslaught).

Just don't tell them the original MSRP wasn't $65.

I guess there isn't much point now, right? Wouldn't have made much of a difference anyway since the receipt just says "toys & books" instead of anything identifying the set.

Just got MP Shockwave in the mail today. Kind of angry because Amazon shipped it without ANY protection. Literally just the MP box with a shipping label on it.
Anyways I don't quite see where some of the hate comes from for this guy. He looks exactly like his cartoon self. From color to stature. I love him

I don't feel he comes close to living up to the Masterpiece line.
