A ton of small things I got for cheap. I gave the crash combiners another chance with Drag Break and its much better than the previous one. The flap that becomes the combiner chest actually works in this vehicle since it becomes a spoiler. And they both stay well together in vehicle mode and the racecar looks really good as an alt mode.

Bludgeon is all kinds of awesome. Always been a fan of the mold. Only thing is his orange... it's really pale. Kind of an odd choice..

I just opened my Twinferno. He's an AUTOBOT! I always thought the beastformers were all decepticons xD

I like Astrotrain, but seeing him next to Takara's version, I do kinda prefer that paint scheme... The train especially looks a lot more convincing, and the spaceshuttle is also better. I do like his pimp shoes in bot mode though lol.

And Clobber is so cute. The transformation is SO clever, using the titan master as his hands and jaw!! I never knew!! Seriously amazed at mini-grimlock xD

Big haul with a couple littles thrown in for free shipping. Cosmos is going on ebay since I already have the thrilling 30 version, and TF source only had Seaspray with Cosmos. Seaspray is fun, for some reason I really love his clown shoes.

But the big guy is the real haul here. They actually arrived late yesterday and I spent the morning buying some new springs and performing hip surgery. I'll post more on Tryppy in the Tryppy thread.

Total of $40. Not a huge savings, but enough to get me to go after Blaster. TLK Grimlock is sorta like a freebie in this case. And yes, I got Grimlock on purpose, he'll be going on the shelf with the previous Grimlocks from that mold. Now just waiting for the TRU exclusive version to be released.

I scrounged through the very depths of my collection to give my local seller some last TF figures in store credits. A few sacrifices were made, but nothing too worrisome. But for what I gave and what I wanted, I could only have a "Gamestop" kind of deal. Meaning that I, I practice, lost a lot of money. Still, I basically gave garbage figures and random impulse purchases to get some rare treasures.

I present to you G1 Weirdwolf, Repugnus, Sergeant Kup, and Skullcruncher.

Weirdwolf have a perfect wolf mode, but the bot mode back kibble is horrible. Still, it's pretty fun.
Repugnus (forgive the non-rotated wais joint on the photo) is PERFECT. It's basically a "double bot". Also, his mechanism work perfectly, gnawing and spitting "cold sparks" like there's no tomorrow.
Kup (the extra purchase thank to my credit card) Is ugly, derpy, and I ADORE him!
And finally, Skullcruncher is magnificent all over.

I may continue to buy him some more G1 in the future, but I'm now completely taped-out in trades. From now on, it will be cash only.

It's awesome and I noticed that I prefer post-1986 Movie G1 far more than the "Diaclone leftovers". Appart from Optimus Prime, I'm not a big fan. Designs were a bit boring, often with part-forming galore, and those toys were very fragile. But post-movie, Transformers was being bold and wild! :KREMZEEK:

They were also solid and fun to play with (If you forget some instances of GPS and wonky power-masters).

I used to be the opposite, honestly -- thinking all bots after the animated movie were diecast steel-less rip-offs of other toy brands. It took me coming back for Combiner Wars to allow me to see the creative-craziness of the Pretenders, after all!

Hell, I even want a Micromaster set these days.....

My Target and TrU have plenty of Kups and Repugni. I can grab a couple for you at cost plus shipping, unless the customs fees make it a no win situation and you would rather wait.

I don't care about Windblade, but Misfire, Slugslinger and Twin Twist have a spot in my collection waiting for them.
