Bucky wrote:Some nice finds, Kanrabat. The Dinobots are fine for what they are. I’m just hoping that in a couple years we get some that are larger and aren’t hindered by any gimmicks, like being combiners. They do look awfully nice when they’re together on a shelf though.
Got some nice deals on eBay, but I really do have to put a halt to any more purchases for a couple months. Got Reveal the Shield OP, which turned out to be a hell of a lot smaller than I was expecting. Especially for that line of toys. No complaints about him other than that. Finally bought a Reveal the Shield Battle in Space two pack. Not really a fan of Rodimus in bot mode unfortunately, but I do enjoy his alt and transformation. The figure itself just feels very cheap to me. I mostly bought the two-pack for Cyclonus. His alt mode is a little “meh,” but I’m really glad I got him. I’m tempted to pick up the Platinum set some day, because I think he looks amazing in that clear purple plastic. And Reveal the Shield Strafe. He’s cool. He’s fun. And since I’ll never buy a Mindwipe for the crazy prices he goes for, I’m glad that I’ll still be able to enjoy that mold. Almost done with the RtS line now. Although I doubt I’ll ever get a Lugnut.
I also got a used Depthcharge in good condition for dirt cheap. Missing his tail and two misses, but I figure I can just be very patient, and wait until someone is selling the parts for a price I like. Lastly I got a TM Scavenger. Talked the seller down a couple bucks from an already reasonable price. I absolutely love this toy. He’s gorgeous. And luck for me, despite his paint being metallic orange, zero chipping or flaking. The dark red clear plastic pieces look so good. I’m happy I picked him up.

Was going to get studio series Jazz, but then I found leader Megatron! Sweet.
