The thing I hate the most about Amazon are all those listings with completely WETAWDS prices. Seriously, this put Ebay to shame.

Wow. So one of my favorite tenants, who is also a collector, gave me a box of his G1 toys. I obviously thanked him profusely. I never had any figures from 84-86. Most of them aren’t complete, but I don’t care. I can be patient, and watch for accessories on eBay. I’m just so excited, and impressed by these guys. I’ll be hitting up reprolabels for sure.

Small victory I forgot to post yesterday since I was busy packing to head back to school: went across the water to Seattle to see Phantom of the Opera, it was exceptional, and while there, I just happened to stop into the Target there out of curiosity, and what do you know...

Only time I've seen Wave 3 of the Legends or the single Macho Man Randy Savage Rodimus Unicronus they had in person, although I wasn't interested in the evil Roddy and didn't want to have to carry it around Seattle anyway.

All that's left on my list to get from POTP now is OpOp and Wreck-Gar.

It’s really awesome. These guys have been a great first in-hand experience with original G1 figures. I had no idea they had such heft to them! While the bot modes are more or less what I always expected, the alt modes are so impressive. And I love the rubber tires. I think I’ve officially started down the road to building my own G1 collection.

If only I still had all my Pretenders from when I was a kid. I’d love to tackle rebuilding that collection.

ZeroWolf - Oooo but I really want to. at least the main ‘Con and ‘Bot Pretenders from Masterforce, and also the monster Pretenders that form Monstructor because I loved them as a kid. I don’t think I ever actually realized they combined when I had them though.

Zero & Kanra - I had no idea the Jumpstarters with their guns was a rarity. I’ll consider myself very fortunate then! I’m pretty excited by the prospect of hunting down each missing piece. I feel like finding a left hand for OP is going to be costly.

I might put a limit on my collecting of these. Like, maybe just try to acquire the ‘84 ‘Autobots over the next few years. I’m sure it’s still going to be quite a task.

The monster pretenders will be costly mind, some of them are affected by dreaded gold plastic syndrome. However I wish you the best in your hunt, user bodrock set up a pretender thread, where everything is pretenders or pretender related.

So I got some new weirdos!



I also got two new Cutthroats. One to replace the first one I got, hoping for better than a bird head that falls apart in the slightest breeze. And another for a project. Both of them, are solid as a rock! They're like night and day from my first one. Makes me wonder, if the QC is worse than on first run figures than later runs?


And finally, my last TF vinyl, care of the one and only Cobonator (thanks again bro!)!!

-2 Dinobots are for display, the 3rd is for keeping MISB.
-2 Blastoffs are for display, 1 sold to a local collector/friend.
-1 Pug is for display, the other 2 sold to local collectors/friends.

And I bought 3 Punch/Counterpunch's and am doing the same thing. Selling AT COST mind you. I posted this all elsewhere, granted I should have done so here. But maybe ask next time before you jump to conclusions.
