Well the majority of my holiday haul has come in by now. There’s still a few more on the way. I feel like I went overboard...

Adorable BW basics.

Transform Dream Wave upgrades for Computron, Superion, and Defensor. PE upgrades for Devastator.

Devy isn’t new, but his upgrades are. Rampage, Lockdown, and Longhaul have been real high up on my want list for a long while. Glad I finally bought them.

Not pictured are SS RotF Starscream, SS Dropkick, and and an old, but MIB DotM Crankcase to fill out my dreadbots.

Picked up TTC Ironhide, Ratchet, and Sentinel, TLK legion Hound, and a TLK Berserker to repaint into DOTM Crankcase!

I knew Berserker wasn’t supposed to be very good, but that transformation is a nightmare. At least his robot mode looks good.

You're right Burn. I at least didn't take that photo for the response (it's from when I got the UFO hands), but still... I'm sorry.

Got all these yesterday, two belated presents and one Target buy:

* Power of the Primes Blot, represented by the front art of his packaging because I didn't want to dig him out, unbag him, and transform him for this quickie photo. I also got Sinnertwin for Christmas, so now I just need Hun-Gurrr to complete Abominus
* Bumblebee movie Soundwave, who will be joining my Generations collection as that's where he really belongs - let's be honest. Might paint some of the burnt gray silver. In my personal canon he represents Soundwave in an upgraded body.
* The Bumblebee movie Cassette Pack. The Tablessettes (which for my purposes similarly represent upgrade bodies) will of course be joining Soundwave. Frenzy shall be Rumble in my collection (I'm a cartoon fan) as soon as I paint some red over the blue optics they gave him to try passing him off as movieverse Frenzy (which amuses me because so many of the movie Frenzy toys that actually look like him have red optics). Bumblebee will be repainted and kitbashed into a random Decepticon grunt.

Zelda - ha. No, there’s no pelvic thrusting. As much as I like the fine job that PE does with their combiner upgrades, TDW is a step above in my opinion. I love the extra pieces that beef out the thighs. It makes the proportions so much better.

D-Max - Thanks, D-Max! It’s still so much fun getting old BW toys, isn’t it? I’ve got a Ramulus on the way, and I’m so, so excited for him to arrive.

Found a whole set of Clip Bots at Target for $1.49 each in the Christmas clearance section, I think they were being sold as stocking stuffers. Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Starscream, Bumblebee, and Hot Rod. They're pretty neat, I've got a couple ideas of where I can hang them.

Also picked up a clearanced PotP Outback at Walmart for $7. Originally I was going to use it to replace the one I got off Amazon that's missing a heel and then return the defective one to Walmart (the villainy!), but then I realized I still have a month to return the defective one to Amazon for a replacement so I might just return it to Walmart unopened.

Because the Amazon one only cost me $5 and some change.

Anyway, one of my local Kmarts is closing (looks like they might all be closing soon...) and I was able to snag a Cyberverse Ultimate Optimus Prime for $16. Probably wouldn't be happy with this figure if I paid more than that.

Also found a reissue Starscream at Walmart for $25. The box was somewhat beat up, but the tape was off on one side so I was able to open it up and check to be sure the contents were all there and nothing was broken.

Mail call yesterday:

Played with Prime a bit. Not a huge fan of truck mode, but the Transformation is kinda neat. Siege Prime is nice I guess, but I feel its way too little for a voyager price tag. I got it with discount codes and I still feel I overpaid. Since my kids have already lost interest in the siege figures I got the for Christmas, Starscream will be the last figure of this line I spend any money on, and only because I have a Starscream collection.

Ironhide is literally only out of the box. I have yet to anything with him other than glance at the instructions. He is actually quite a bit bigger than I was expecting, and has some heft to him. I'm pretty sure his arms and/or shoulders are not transformed or pegged in correctly, but I have not had enough coffee to start fiddling with him yet.
