Although unlike hound I am sure there is more alt mode integration right?

Roadbuster is not restricted to look like some overambitious CGI design. The result is a PERRFECT vehicle mode without bot kibble and a bot mode that have absolutely NNO cheats whatsoever. It also have NO shells or panels of any sorts.

His transformation is very simple, but he's an honest transformers. Dont wait for a sale. Buy him now. I know you and you will shiver in pleasure at him. For real.

I just got a Galaxy Force Vector Prime for my collection. I got him to sorta represent G1 Sentinel Prime. He's pretty cool. I also got a classics Mirage finally, and a Arms Micron Ironhide to take over for my Universe 2.0 Ironhide.

I didn't collect much cybertron stuff, but they seem pretty solid. Regretting it a little now.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.

I dunno. My advice is to skip Roadbuster. He's far too fragile for my taste. AoE Hound was far bulkier to me. I felt a little cheated after I listened to glowing reviews of Roadbuster and then got him. He felt cheap, like I would break him if I played with him. I couldn't recommend him really, even though I do like the design and the alt mode. The robot mode is lacking. YMMV though.

It's one of the best lines out there (Scourge, Jetfire, Landmine, voyager Starscream and Primus are among my favourites) and the last line with Japanese designs to be sold outside Japan. I also think it's the line with the best scout class out there. There are of course, really crappy toys in there, like in all lines, but I love it for the most part.

Generations Roadbuster feel cheap and fragile? Jeez, are you a strongman who bend steel bars and tear phone books in two for a living? Because I transformed him a couple of times, tried many poses and went "pew pew pew" a few times and he feel quite sturdy. To break him, you have to use it as a hammer to try and break concrete blocks. Unless that's what you usually do with your Tfs.

I am very careful with my stuff and I stand by what I said. My roadbuster is a floppy disappointment that I am afraid will snap if I pose his arms. Compared to my Aoe Hound, Roadbuster feels very fragile and I wouldn't recommend him based on my own experiences.

You may have a faulty one because mine is sturdy and have ratchetty goodness all over. Some are VERY tights, but I'm not affraid to bend every joints like crazy.

If it's possible, maybe buy a second one, do a toy-swap, and return the old one as deffective?

I was afraid I got a dud. I probably wont bother though. Better I have the dud sitting on my shelf than some kid, who ends up breaking it. (I don't trust my walmart to send it back)

Woot Woot! 50% off sale at TRU so I got myself a Leader Grimlock. The transformation is really good although I could do without the partforming and the visible hands and feet (my least favourite part).

glad to see you took the plunge! leader grim has flaws, but he's so much fun. id say hes even worth the full 60. but good show getting it at half. ;)

my haul today....

Image

hes not sludge, and slog is stupid. so ive dubbed him "slogdge". now, slogdge has some really nice sculpting. the paint apps are slim, but whats there is nice (mmm blue visor). but the transformation is wiggy (most rubber ive seen on a TF) and... gorilla arms. gorilla arms gorilla arms gorilla arms. AOE just cant seem to escape them.

all that said, he can pull off some decent poses and looks really cool. and i was aware of the flaws before i bought him, but i have every other retail dinobot so i was kinda committed. my advice is get slogdge if you want him, otherwise hope for a sale.

Got a Cybertron Hot Shot. It's a simple toy but I do like how the design is smart and you have a great looking robot with good deco, using the car parts yet the sides of which we don't see in the other mode. And it's a nice big deluxe.

Generations Gears came in the mail today. I like the little fella, but the only thing I slightly don't like is how restrictive his posability seems to be. Not Skids-levels, but getting there.

The Generations Legends are super addictive... I've gone from zilch to nine in less than a year. Guess part of the reason I find them appealing is because they're mainly updates to Minibots and characters who've yet to receive an update.
They call me “Tanker Chungus”!

Weapon: Dark Saber Sword
Ever buy something because you're surprised it's there? Just had that happen today... Picked up Generations Legends Tailgate today at my local Target. His buddy Groundbuster is totally naff, and Tailgate himself is okay. Not my favorite Legends this far, but he's got charm.
They call me “Tanker Chungus”!

Motto: "'till All Are One"
A small but fun Haul today including Cybertron Sideways, Crumplezone and Energon Sharkticon. You know, now that I look at it, Sharkticon looks a lot like the concept art for Transtech Depthcharge, even though he was actually based on the Nemesis. And I am getting that Cybertron/Galaxy Force bug. I had a few but sold or traded them a while ago so now I have to get them back. Now looking for Crossroad, Override, Brimstone and Downshift.
