The Blitzwing listing we have is for Legacy, actually, not SS86.Rodimus Prime wrote:We're supposedly getting Blitzwing in SS86. Astrotrain, maybe in the Legacy line. But he was just released in WFC so it's probably a longshot.
Really? That's kind of a bummer, if it had been in SS86 it probably would have looked better. But who knows, the Legacy line might actually be a step up, but I don't see how, if they will redo characters from the 1st 2 seasons of G1. Again. WFC did a really good job with them. Except Astrotrain. And Shockwave.Nemesis Primal wrote:The Blitzwing listing we have is for Legacy, actually, not SS86.Rodimus Prime wrote:We're supposedly getting Blitzwing in SS86. No, no he isn't. But it's really a matter of opinion. I like his robot mode but the alt mode with the extra bits is crap. I would rather have an actual leader class figure that still turns into a cannon. Considering that the leaders these days aren't much bigger than the voyagers, he could have worked as a leader, and been only slightly larger than Megatron. He could have been like Galvatron, if Shockwave had bulkier arms, legs and chest. But like I said, it's just my personal view, because Shockwave being my favorite Con, I will always scrutinize his figures a bit harder than any others.william-james88 wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Really? How is Shockwave bad? He's as good as can be.

I made the preorder on BBTS when he came back in stock in January (as I'm sure many others did as well), but I have waiting to own this figure since he was revealed back at Toyfair 2020. He was worth the wait! Solid, unlike Metroplex and Fort Max he doesn't squeak when you pick him up, and I'm not normally bothered about ankle tilts, but it really makes a difference for a figure this size. He can hold poses great, and has a magnificent presence to him.
I also got the DNA add-on kit for him. I usually don't go for 3P, but that giant rifle was too much to resist, it's hilariously large and makes him truly overkill.
Nemesis Destron wrote:So I tried attaching the upper leg and putting screws on the "inside" as oppose from outside. When I turn the leg left and right the split bringing the 2 pieces together slightly opens when it ratchets...annoying! Did everyone put screws inside the leg or outside? My thanks in advance!
Nemesis Destron wrote:@ Kanrabat....Awww c'mon dude Emgo seriously?
Interestingly I watched Youtube reviewers then looked directly at instructions so I'm not sure where I went wrong. Did you have the screws go into the leg from in between or facing the outside?
Nemesis Destron wrote:Okay so after looking at instructions again I have the upper leg set up correct with the screws entering from in between the legs and not out, but I was sure I saw someone on Youtube doing the opposite. I'm using the provided gaskets so I will have to fiddle with it some more!

Having 6 modulators all together (3 of each mold) that are all still pretty unique looking makes for some awesome creative play connections.

Were these two that scarce in your area? While I don't ever see them in physical stores anymore just about every website that sells them has had stock for some time, and Grapple even had sales up to half off a few times at various places. I will say of the two Smokescreen was the quicker moving one.
Not sure if they were scarce in my area or not. I didn't exactly get a lot of TF shopping trips in during Earthrise, because my TF purchase capacity took a biiiig hit in 2020 and 2021 due to the Renaissance Faire that is my main source of leisure cash not running those years, and I had another financial concern that made me uncomfortable with splurging from my other funds. 2020 had the additional problem of crap piled in the driveway blocking me from sorting the recycling (my other leisure $ source) for several months, and the runs I did get in went to paying for Apeface, Snapdragon, and Christmas gifts.Till-all-R1 wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:So, I finally got my hands on Grapple and Smokescreen recently, been enjoying them.
