Wolfman Jake wrote:I just want them to show us a size comparison shot of Earthrise Cliffjumper with ANY of the Thrilling 30 - Prime Wars Legends Class figures. I don't care if Cliffjumper is a one-off as long as he's THE definitive Cliffjumper for our collections. Alternately, can anyone find a Sunbow size chart that shows if Cliffjumper is a bigger Minibot than most others? The charts I've found online always seem to exclude him (and the Season 2 Minibots).

I think Tidal Wave is the best bet.

AcademyofDrX wrote:If they're going to redo a character with a recent release, I would think Sky Lynx much more likely than this Tidal Wave guy

Minibots should all be between 3 and 4 meters tall. The shortest are over a meter shorter than the standard boys, while the tallest are the same height.
Legends minibots are roughly half the size of your average Siege deluxe. Based on pictures of Cliffjumper, the known height of Refraktor, and the stated WfC design goals, I expect Cliffjumper to be roughly right in the middle between a Legends bot and a standard Siege Deluxe.
I got out my TR figures today specifically to speculate on this. I don't think there's any chance that TR Brawn and ER Cliffjumper will be able to stand next to each other.
On the other hand, I'm definitely holding onto TR Rumble and Frenzy, as the Micromasters are just too small.
Wolfman Jake wrote:Also, the TR Soundwave minions are way too big to be in scale with Siege and Earthrise figures. Micromasters are the right scale for them. They're the smallest of all the bots in the show.
Sabrblade wrote:Funnily enough, a new Commander class Tidal Wave would be exactly the same height as the original Armada toy.

If anything, I would more believe another Throttlebot will come from him, or Runamuck

Not my picture, but this looks right to me. My recollection of the cartoon is that Rumble seemed to get bigger when ejecting. He's slightly shorter than Hound when they fight in MTMTE, but Siege Frenzy is significantly shorter than Siege Hound.
Of course, when the minions attack Preceptor in the movie, they're tiny. It's all relative, they're as big or as small as they need to be. If nothing else, I like the TR designs for R&F better, so I'll keep them. I'm going to unload the other TR minions as fast as possible, though.

Those tube upper arms that they gave Cliffjumper are a Bumblebee feature not CJ's. So I expect to see a similar Bee figure.
Wolfman Jake wrote:I'm hoping that module rocket launcher of his is bigger than it seems, or that there is another accessory or two coming with him that Hasbro hasn't revealed quite yet.
Wolfman Jake wrote:Well, this doesn't help matters much. According to the product description for Earthrise Cliffjumper on Hasbro Pulse here, the "figure scale" for him is 5.5 inches. That's obviously way too tall, and probably completely inaccurate. 5.5 inches seems to be the standard "scale" claimed for any Deluxe class figure in the line, as it's also the purported height for Wheeljack, Ironworks, and Hoist, and we know Hoist is a bit taller than Wheeljack, like how Ironhide, Ratchet, and Impactor are tall (and bulky) Deluxes compared to most of their contemporaries in the Siege line. I'm pretty sure that Cliffjumper is significantly shorter than 5.5 inches, from the in-hand pictures we've seen earlier this month from NYCC, but exactly how much shorter is still very ambiguous.
