Stargrave wrote:I'd honestly been thinking they would have gone the easy route for a Monstructor and done something with the Terrorcons. I didn't expect them to go Piranhacon.
Given that they didn't it leaves Monstructor for the awesome new design and detailing we've been getting.
As much as I'd dig a Titan class combiner I'm looking at Abominus and Jetfire right here and, I dunno, I think it could work in that size range.
D-Maximal_Primal wrote:We need a Titan Monstructor complete with pretender shells. Or a smaller boxset where the robots use the designs from the shells for robot modes ALA HftD Bludgeon and Generations Skullgrin.
Monstructor needs to happen. He is literally the LAST US-released combiner that needs an update.
AcademyofDrX wrote:Bottom line though, I don't think there's any chance in Earthrise, which is ostensibly the purpose of this thread. Assuming they fill out updates for the '85 cast, I think we can project at least half of the lineup anyway.
Awhile back, we got a series of rumors that have, so far, all proven to be true, with only a couple left unconfirmed since they are for items to come later. One such rumor was that the next Commander class would be "complementary" for Titan class Omega Supreme.AcademyofDrX wrote:Is there a guarantee that there will be additional Commander class figures? The Supreme and Ultimate classes were very inconsistent. I mean, speculation is fun and fine, but it's such a specific thing to focus on when there's only a single data point for comparison.

Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'

I'm pretty sure he has been selling well so far. There seemed to be quite a bit of demand for him when he first came out. I know that Walmart clearanced him out already, but I think that was more of a case of Walmart walmarting themselves because they couldn't figure out how to organize their shelves to make him fit near the other TF's so they said eff it and clearanced him to make the issue go away.
"Walmart walmarting themselves" is the best thing I've heard todayTF-fan kev777 wrote:I know that Walmart clearanced him out already, but I think that was more of a case of Walmart walmarting themselves because they couldn't figure out how to organize their shelves to make him fit near the other TF's so they said eff it and clearanced him to make the issue go away.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
AcademyofDrX wrote:I've only been collecting since Combiner Wars*, so I'm very happy with Earthwise. I should have a complete lineup of relatively show-accurate season 2 bots and cons by the time this year ends. I think some collectors forget that not everyone has buying figures when Classics launched. This won't be my third Wheeljack, for example, it'll be my first.
*I didn't actually start until Titans Return, but I went back to CW/UW on the secondary market after Siege was announced. I also bought up some minibots dating back to T30, though I expect at least Huffer and Gears to get new figures this year.

I'm hoping for a new Huffer too. He would work great as a small Deluxe, as even among the Autobot Minibots, he was always a bit taller in the cartoon. It does make me worry still a bit about Cliffjumper, though. I hope he comes out to about the same size as Titans Return Legends Bumblebee for the sake of scale, but I have a feeling he's going to be just a bit too big for my liking. He looks fantastic otherwise, though.

Sentinel_Primal wrote:I mean, Cliffjumper's definitely going to be smaller. Looking at the size of the ports on his arms compared to the rest of him, he's going to be a small deluxe. He might not be full legends sized but I'm okay with that. I'm just happy he's finally getting the Generations treatment and isn't just a repaint of Bumblebee, and they aren't planning (at least at the moment) to repaint him as Bumblebee
