Given that they didn't it leaves Monstructor for the awesome new design and detailing we've been getting.
As much as I'd dig a Titan class combiner I'm looking at Abominus and Jetfire right here and, I dunno, I think it could work in that size range.

Keep in mind, Takara did Piranhacon on their own, Hasbro is just being a US outlet for them.
Also the fact we know tooling for a Wildfly head exists, if they do a Monstructor, my bet is on CW compatible limbs at least. A simple new head redeco of Cutthroat into Wildfly would leave more money in development for the rest of the team. The tough part to doing them right would be figuring out a 2 deluxe torso configuration, which is really the last frontier for being able to do proper 6 bot combiners in the CW scramble city scale.

Monstructor needs to happen. He is literally the LAST US-released combiner that needs an update.
I dunno, I think for Monstructor, having the designs for the shells used for the monster modes would make more sense than trying to incorporate them into the robot modes.
I don't think Monstructor is a big enough name to support a Titan release. Maybe a Commander would make more sense?
...Also, Squawkbox hasn't had an update either, and Slamdance's update wasn't a proper combiner. (And there's also Rail Racer and Landfill, but I presume you mean G1 combiners.)

Scorponok's gonna be in Earthrise, so them going beyond just the '84-'85 guys isn't out of the question. I'll grant that Monstructor is pretty unlikely, though, since he's fairly obscure.
But there's not really a lot of obvious choices for Commander class. Who else is bigger than normal Transformers but not citybot/combiner big? All I can think of would be Sky Lynx and maybe Broadside.

Awhile back, we got a series of rumors that have, so far, all proven to be true, with only a couple left unconfirmed since they are for items to come later. One such rumor was that the next Commander class would be "complementary" for Titan class Omega Supreme.AcademyofDrX wrote:Is there a guarantee that there will be additional Commander class figures? The Supreme and Ultimate classes were very inconsistent. I mean, speculation is fun and fine, but it's such a specific thing to focus on when there's only a single data point for comparison.
A popular theory for what this rumored next Commander could be is a new Sky Lynx, whose shuttle mode could interact with Omega's launchpad.

If that price point does well enough we may see more, albeit as limited as anything else above Leader Class, like 1 or 2 new molds a year/line. That's always been a standard, well, the only standard I can see.

I'm pretty sure he has been selling well so far. There seemed to be quite a bit of demand for him when he first came out. I know that Walmart clearanced him out already, but I think that was more of a case of Walmart walmarting themselves because they couldn't figure out how to organize their shelves to make him fit near the other TF's so they said eff it and clearanced him to make the issue go away.

Wouldn't suprise me sadly, still some people are getting a blindlingly good deal on a great looking toy so that's good.

Now, I can understand that some of the other first wave characters may be less interesting. This is our third "Classics" Wheeljack, and while the previous two are good figures in their own ways, this one looks to take the cake. No more wonky backpack and stout proportions from Generations or lacking paint apps and accessories from Combiner Wars! Starscream and Optimus Prime, though gorgeous, are admittedly odd choices when we just got really good versions of both characters with more Cybertronian flare just this past year, so I can't fault anyone on being underwhelmed by them now. I, though, will be picking both up and hope we get Skywarp, Thundercracker, and the Coneheads from the earth mode Starscream over the next year or so.
We were all a little skeptical of Siege when it was first announced, and look how great that turned out! Given some time, we'll get more reveals for Earthrise beyond wave 1, which is sure to have some nice surprises for us. Remember too that we've got another year of Generations Selects coming up, so who knows what nice repaints and remolds we might see through that channel in 2020. I'm easily going to be buying up all of the first wave of Earthrise and I can't wait to see what else awaits us!

*I didn't actually start until Titans Return, but I went back to CW/UW on the secondary market after Siege was announced. I also bought up some minibots dating back to T30, though I expect at least Huffer and Gears to get new figures this year.

I'm hoping for a new Huffer too. He would work great as a small Deluxe, as even among the Autobot Minibots, he was always a bit taller in the cartoon. It does make me worry still a bit about Cliffjumper, though. I hope he comes out to about the same size as Titans Return Legends Bumblebee for the sake of scale, but I have a feeling he's going to be just a bit too big for my liking. He looks fantastic otherwise, though.

Yeah, that's my worry too. Someone like Huffer being just a small Deluxe would work fine with the rest of the Minibots we got during the Prime Wars Trilogy, but if Cliffjumper's not full-on Legends size, he's gonna be too big to fit with the Minibots we got, which makes me fear Hasbro's gonna try to make us get all of them all over again.

I always thought Legends scale was nice for Minibots because the original toys were so small, and the vehicle modes never scaled to anything anyway.
