Everything is nice and tight with no sagging in any of the joints. Only issue I have is the screw-pin that pivots and holds Cyclonus' cockpit section has sheared off.

It's not too much of an issue, given that in both modes his arms are tabbed in securely, but it does mean I can wiggle that entire assembly off of his torso now.

I'm not sure whether to keep him or try and get him exchanged for a new one
Pardon me, but I think you posted this in the wrong thread. As for what to do.. how hard would it be to remove the damaged pin and replace it with a substitute?

And an action shot. Silverbolt, Hot Rod, and Blurr tussling with Scorponok. Silverbolt is having a rough time.

While setting this up, I discovered that my Scorponok suffers from the shoulder ratchet looseness issue, so I had to correct that. Right shoulder might need more fine-tuning, but it's still a lot better now.

small!Zarak on Galvatron's body. Inspired by Zarak saying "We shall see..." at the end of "The Rebirth".
Galvatron's crown-mask does not play nice. with Zarak's recessed face.

And figured that while I was doing this I may as well slap Nucleon on Zarak's body to see how that looked.

Has anyone seen any smokestack upgrades for ER Prime? With the 5mm port right on them, I figured someone would make a snap-on piece. But for all my Google-Fu, the closest I get is 3d files on Thingverse but they practically require surgery to remove the originals. I dropped my Prime today while taking some pics and cracked one of his stacks is why I'm looking. In the meantime, I ordered Netflix Prime so I have an unbroken figure for my shelf and use the damaged one for messing around. It gives him character

I know I've seen upgrades for SIEGE Optimus, would those fit?

How much published testing has there been of how Zarak's head looks on different bodies?

The Siege kit replaces the stacks and the shoulder panel that flips out so they're not compatible. I looked at a few to see if they would require less surgery to use and it would actually be more as I'd have to cut the panel off the kit stacks and then cut the stacks of ER Prime's arms.

Since ER Prime is a re-release in Kingdom, you could just buy a Kingdom Leader Prime, and return your broken one with the receipt, depending on how you feel about doing that. I've done that before when a figure breaks and is still available. I'd just make sure you tell them it broke so they don't put it back on the shelf.

If I ever see him again I just might. I've seen all of Kingdom Wave 1 a few times but only saw Prime twice and Arcee once.

I secured my Galactic Odyssey Barricade last weeks thanks to LinaNui, and this is my first time with the ER Datsun mold. Overall, he's pretty good, I like the mold. it's solid, and the colors are pretty neat. I wish the windows were still translucent purple, but overall it's a nice figure. I paired him up with Frenzy and the 2 members of the Race Track Patrol to make a nice little G1/movie combo team

If only that had happened around Christmas...

But, well, there was no way to back out of the "compiled eBay giftcards between Christmas and birthday" plan once it was started because I'm fairly certain those can't be returned... And you can only spend eBay giftcards on eBay...

Sigh.

At least I have him...

Transformers Earthrise Scorponok and Transformers Selects G2 Sandstorm Back on Hasbro Pulse

Postby ZeroWolf » Fri Feb 12, 2021 4:49 am

Motto: "My past no longer binds my future..."
Weapon: Battle Blades
Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, TF-fan Kev777, has let us know the good news that two previously sought after Transformers have returned for pre-order on HasbroPulse.com!

The first needs little introduction, as Transformers Earthrise Titan Class Scorponok is getting another production run! This beast of a Transformer made an impact when it was released last year, and if you're ordering him now; don't forget to pick up the new update of his partner, Fasttrack, to complete the set and give Scorponok his spear!

Earthrise Scorponok

Image

The second is one of the latest figures to hit the Selects line, G2 Sandstorm! This redeco is of the popular Earthrise conehead mould (it itself a retool of the Earthrise seeker mould) and is based on an unproduced concept made during the Generation 2 toyline back in the 90s. Notable for not featuring a garish colour scheme like many of it's contemporaries.

Will you be taking advantage of these new pre-orders? Have you already got these figures?

Sound off in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Yes, for Primus' sake get him. Better the real price than paying $250 or more on eBay or Amazon.

Wait is it? He's the only other Titan I've even considered (Trypticon is my only Titan) and he looks pretty great.

This is a weird question, but how small can you compact him? I'm moving around constantly and Trypticon is already pretty tough to find a space for while doing so.

Well it's my opinion only, of course. But he's solid, no hollow spaces like Metroplex and Fort Max, my experience with Devastator was only somewhat satisfying, I definitely rank Scorpy higher than him, and even though I think Tryppy is also solid and worth the value, his awkward build makes him a little less desirable to me. Again, just my opinion. The only other Titan that comes close to Scorponok is Omega Supreme, but I place Scorponok above him because he's not a partsformer and because he's a headmaster, and we finally got proper MegaZarak and Zarak figures. My only 2 gripes with Scorponok are that his face should have been the same cream color that Megazarak's chest is, and he should have come with 2 pairs of cannons for his legs as well.
This is a weird question, but how small can you compact him? I'm moving around constantly and Trypticon is already pretty tough to find a space for while doing so.
Well the easier way to get him into the smallest space is by putting him in Scorpion mode and just folding his claws up over his back and folding his tail down. That might get him to fit into an 18 by 18 by 18 inch cube. Definitely easier than Trypticon, whose tail is just mostly in the way.

Of course, if you've got a free seat in the car you could just buckle him in with a seat belt. ;) :P As far as packing him in a box goes, it might help to detach the tail and tuck it in under one arm, and tuck the Deluxe Zarak in under the other arm. Being a humanoid design means that he's wide, but not very deep, especially with the tail disconnected. And that reduced depth might be what you need.

Found probably my first example of a shortpacked figure, Earthrise Arcee and i bought her. She is so impressive for a deluxe figure :x

But i'm disappointed that she doesn't gave two guns and that her pistol isn't black or pure white. (Not this transparent grey) I'd hate losing that thing because of the obscure color. Personally i'm fine with her body design as it is without buying modding.
