And since have bonded in FOC (my main basis for their relationship) and have bonded in being the expendable killable guys in the past decade as well
All that's missing is Marty Minkler to mistakenly call them "Jazz and Cliffjump".sol magnus wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:sol magnus wrote:I'd say they hung out in one episode and the movie.

I didn't play FOC, but I do remember they had a mission together. My son puts them together like Batman and Robin, too so you're not alone.

I was really thinking about this set due to the MASK homages but ultimately there are only two molds in the box that are any good, and I can get them in the space station set, with a rocket launcher.

I've had both of the WFC Ironhides and I love them both, especially after Ironhide's kinda infamous history of toys. However, the one thing that frustrated me most about ER Ironhide (ERonhide) is his kibble shield. My problem with kibble shields is that they're usually too small, but the one time we get a proper shield... it's the most awkward thing for the figure to wield.
That is until you plug his included gun into the shield and turn it into a handle!

There's nothing more to add.

The MASK stuff was what caught my eye for sure, but I missed out on the big 10-pack of Micromasters when that dropped last year(?), so I figured my collection could use a few more. I had high hopes when Hasbro gave IDW the MASK license, I figured we'd see new toys of them for sure but sadly it was not to be.

MASK would be a tough line to make toys for today, you basically have to cover two bases; a transforming vehicle, and an action figure that can interact with said vehicle. The price point would be very high.
On another note, Target sent me an email this morning saying my Earthrise Thrust was canceled. Well that stinks.

Boo on Target for that! I've actually seen Thrust on store shelves a few times this year, but it's really hit and miss from Target to Target. Our distribution woes are far from over, I'm afraid.

Hate to say that I called it but... Target seriously needs to drop the "collector oriented" bs they've been trying to sell, this is just embarrassingly hypocritical

I only saw him at my local Target twice... The first time there were 3, the second (at least a week later) there were 2. Other than maybe the clone 2 pack, I believe he was the last ER figure I ever saw on shelves/pegs.

My usual dealer is offering $50 shipped but I'm hoping to find it on eBay for $40 shipped.
