Inferno can use Wreck-Gar, Jazz, Ricochet, and Red Swoop to complete his combiner, while Starscream can use Dreadwind, Blackwing, Golden Lagoon Starscream (repurposed as Sunstorm) and whichever of the two Hasbro Blast Offs (jet or shuttle) one doesn't have attached to Bruticus.

So after looking at the picture some more, greenlight is not just a simple redeco of moonracer. The forearms, feet, lower legs and chest are all different. The hands are also different. The wrists no longer fold inward which means that at the very least the back of the vehicle is going to be different to moonracer and firestar.

Good eye! The silhouette is still roughly the same, which may work to her disadvantage. But hey, one more limb for Elita-Infin1te. Now I have to get PotP Elita-1, I've waited long enough.

As for her release date, I'd look at the numbered Studio Series exclusives first and see how they follow the order, if they actually do.

For Starscream's limbs I would say to do a custom Hydra and Buster, wait for an LGEX set of them, or have him borrow the Combaticon limbs - after all, they're Starscream's Brigade On that note, Jet!Blastoff isn't a bad matchup.

I was going to use Ricochet as a leg of Elita for package art accuracy and Red Swoop as a limb for Red Defensor , but since Greenlight is coming, I guess I'll replace Jazz with her so Elita can have a little flaming dagger, as for starscream, I'll try to customize a second Dreadwing duo in their Japanese deco

I like the idea of doing an Energon wingsaber thing where the figure gets a speed boost by focusing on the legs, or a power boost with huge cannons on the arms, so here is hound: speed form

I too have plans on a proper truck Firestar.

I've been toying with the idea of turning t30 Orion Pax into Firestar. The chest is feminine enough and half the colors are right already... but I donno.

Pretty simple detail with seemingly no battle damage. Not to mention she's a combiner limb in a line that's not trying to have any uncharacteristic features. Which makes me wonder... Why is she being released in WfC Siege? She clearly fits Generations Selects much better, being another repaint of a more exclusive character that even comes with an exclusive battlemaster. Not even Ricochet gets that special treatment, and he's the one that was originally a targetmaster.

Not to say that she doesn't look good or that I'm not greatful for another Fem-Limb, but still, it's more baffeling than it is exciting. Oh who am I kidding, I'm excited.

My guess is that Generations Selects will have a more limited release venue, online-only from specialty retailers... which isn't for everyone. By putting her in the Siege line, she becomes more available and could show up at Target and Walmart.

The SS exclusives generally release in order like all of the rest of the line: Thundercracker showed up pretty much with the rest of Wave 1, meaning 1-9 released all at once, the Bees have been showing up in order, and Drift is still just a preorder. Since no one has disagreed with my observation that Greenlight's packaging seems to say WFC-S15, that means that Greenlight should become available either when all of Wave 1 properly hits retail as opposed to the current sporadic findings, or in-between Waves 1 and 2.

Somewhere around the Wave1/Wave 2 "exchange" shall we say is a safe guess, WFC-14 Decepticon Shockwave is where the Wave 1 line-up ends, and WFC-16 Pteraxadon is where Wave 2 begins. Hasbro seems to be following the TakaraTomy method of assigning ID's per wave, assigning them from smaller to larger Classes.

While this is neat and all, could we possibly get a new mold for female autobots? Jets? Tanks? Wolves? Trucks? Lamp posts? Anything other than the exact same mold with different paint. I mean, I'll still buy her so I can have the whole group, and I'll definitely enjoy having her in my collection, but I'd still like to see something new. Happy to be able to buy Firestar, wish she was a truck. Maybe if I can scan her head and 3d print a new one at a bigger scale, then buy the Inferno torso and slap Firestars' embiggened head on there. I kinda like that idea. Then buy a second RID Strongarm figure and slap Chromia's head on it.

I digress.

Yes, I like her. And yes, I'll buy her. But I still reserve my right to whine about how much of a sucker I am.

Well, looking at the cartoon model she has a similar transformation scheme to Kup's original toy, except her arms don't tuck away. TR Kup's legs work a bit differently but you might be able to adapt him (especially since, with the arms remaining out, there would be room to fit a backpack). If you don't mind taking some liberties with the altmode and such, PotP Inferno could work. He has two tires on each lower leg, after all.

I am STOKED for Greenlight! It's nice that she does have a few parts remolded to differentiate her just a bit more from Moonracer and Firestar. I wonder if her alt mode will have a few more remolded parts too. Still, Greenlight is NOT going to look vastly different from her Power of the Primes teammates, but in terms of the gestalt form of Elita Infin1te, I think that's a good thing. It'll give a very nice symmetry and unity of style to the combined form that most other combiners lack, what with at least three if not all of their limbs usually being completely different molds. A repaint of the Greenlight mold as Lancer is definitely called for. Too bad for Chromia that she has to be the odd bot out, though.

Wish they'd release new moulds, have moon racer but didn't bother getting elite 1 - maybe if I come across a heavily discounted one. Was one of the few that I didn't get from CW onwards.

Re green light she looks the part, and it feels strange to see her packaged that way in the siege imprint... oh well, I'm sure quite a few peeps want her.

They gave Greenlight a unique class/rank symbol (I really want to know what these are actually called by Hasbro) that features four spikes, each one larger than the last. Guess that's some sort of combiner limb symbol or something?

I like to think Dazlestrike is a reference to Blackcat? The colors are wrong being just Lionizer with blue eyes and some green paint on the sword, but I like to think this was a nod in his direction.

Now that we have an actual (technically) PotP figure in the Siege line, what if the exclusive Sideswipe is actually a CW Sunstreaker retool? I mean, it wont be, but what if?

It's called getting your money worth out of a mold. Especially since the characters using said mold were introduced as part of the same team and shared similar aesthetic in robot mode in the tv show.

I'm assuming it's also because they see a demand for female limb bots. One would think they could also use the remolds they created for Victorion, but I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro forgot about them.
