Ironhide's wheels are actually fairly hefty as far as SIEGE goes. And I wouldn't say he needed a lift kit so much as a protrusion kit. It's not that the G1 toy is higher up off its tires, so much as its tires stick out sideways.
Could that be modded somehow?

Giant wheels or butt wheels?
I didn't get Siege Ironhide because I already have the part of the cast in the Masterpiece collection, but I hope to experience the mold through Crosshairs. The likeness is pretty good. Wish they did a better job with the deco of the arms and hands though.

There are atandarfs to maintain.

The ones that had different models between the two shows were the Autobot Headmasters (including Fort Max), the Autobot Targetmasters, both sets of Clones, Punch/Counterpunch, Rodimus Prime (he got a new Toei-original model upon Hot Rod's regaining the Matrix in Episode 3), Scorponok, the Duocons (different models from their toy commercial models) and Sixshot.Cyberpath wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Cyberpath wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:I think you forgot one
The insult that was Titans Return Apeface or the "Spasma" mode that hasn't been revealed yet?
Is that his US character model or his Japanese one? Or did the Horrorcons not diverge?
Same model for both shows, except for the back. (Not shown here.)
The shades in Rebirths were a little different. But I think it was for everyone, including established characters like Optimus Prime.

Mindmaster wrote:I’m in the same boat; I don’t have Ironhide because I have Universe (2008) Ironhide and despite all the shitbit gets, I still like it enough to want Ratchet. However, I intend on getting this Crosshairs as a way to experience the mold and (hopefully) jumpstart the modern revival of the Autobot Targetmasters. Can’t have the Decepticon Targetmasters and not have the Autobot ones!

Great minds think alike.
Thinking about Crosshairs more, the more I'm convinced he was made simply for availability's sake. "Crosshairs" has been used quite a bit thanks to the movies, and "Pinpointer"'s last use was in DotM, should Hasbro want to attempt his partner. "Sureshot" and "Pointblank" haven't been reused since G1/G2, as have their partners "Spoilsport" and "Peacemaker".

Eh, I think redos like that would be inferior in their case.

Not all of us were collecting during the Unicron Trilogy, sadly.

Its not like any of these toys are rarer or more expensive than any retail toy these days. And many would argue you are getting more with these older toys.
Yeah, I literally just bought myself a still-in-box Cybertron Defense Red Alert from TFSource just last month.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Hey, I had to collect most of mine after the fact and I'm still not done. Most of them aren't too horrible on eBay even now. The main ones that will be a pain in your tail are Galvatron, Nemesis Breaker, and Menasor.

Reflector is already repacked in a revision wave.
This reminds me of people being scared about TR Krok amd Quake. How did that turn out?
