I've seen other fans headcanon the red Mirage as a fembot chemist named Formula.Sentinel_Primal wrote:Emerje wrote:Speaking of the Mirage mold and speculation of what they might do with it beyond the clear version, what about this using the Amazon "sphinx" head and a new name?

Ooo, I'd be down for a red repaint of Mirage. And as for names, I think it could be a G1 Side Burn. The alt mode doesn't really scream Side Burn, but the color placement kind of reminds me of his super version and I don't see why not since we've never had a G1 version of Side Burn before. Alternatively he could be called Buddy because of the "elf" on his chest

Also, we so have had a G1 version of RiD Side Burn before:
Yeah, at some point, the Wiki decided to fold all of the G1 versions of any RiD 2001 characters onto the RiD 2001 versions' pages since the differences between them became increasingly negligible over time (and since the Japanese version, Car Robots, is part of G1, outright).Sentinel_Primal wrote:Oh, I just did a quick search through TFWiki and saw that that version was counted as RID Side Burn. Fair enough though . Hadn't heard of it before now, but I actually love the name Formula for that design

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Autobot Dinobot? Autobot Dinoracer?
Hmmmmmm

This page probably explains it well enough.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:I just had to check that, and yup. Same goes for Sky-Byte, his G2 and RiD articles got merged apparently for organizational purposes. Just... Car Robots is G1, yeah, but things unique to the RiD dub and connected media are not. Ugh.

As an aircraft enthusiast, I feel obligated to note that those aren’t nacelles beside of seeker heads, but intake cowls - at least when the seekers don’t transform into tetrajets.
