Well, compared to the G1 Original, I can see that at least the Siege version is MUCH happier to see me.

Nah, he was already a man. It's just that he no longer skips everything but Leg Day, so his arms have bulked up too.

If you look on the top of Omega's calf, when in base mode, he does have a black ramp connector on each side that are flipped in for storage! They can be really stiff, so just wedge something under it to pull it up. Then you can attach Ironworks and make a city!

The problem with attaching Ironworks is that those black connectors are too high on Omega Supreme to be able to attach Ironworks directly in his normal base mode without a Soundbarrier battle master to bridge the gap, or elevating Ironworks (like on a book or something.

If you connect ironworks 2 ramp pieces you should be able to reach up to there

Well thanks to my daughters keen eye on the walmart app she saw the store closest to us got the Siege Spoiler Box in (said limited quantity).

Now I had been there just 2 days ago, and there is a sheepish young girl working toys, so I didn't want to bother her again (I think she was honestly scared of me the first time) :???: . But I happened upon someone I had never seen before, was a manager of the area, he scanned the code and said they should have 2 in back, and in fact they did, they must have just come in on a truck, because the night before they had no stock. Interestingly, of 15 stores in my area, this was only one of two that seemingly got them (I'm sure more will be getting them soon),

So I got one. He asked if I wanted both, but I said, "I'm a collector, not a scalper, leave one for someone else"

He was a bit taken back I think, but he said "good man" ;)^ . Now truth be told, I got this just for Rung, and was going to sell the rest, but of course my conscience always gets to me, and I have to ask my son first, and of course he's going to accept any Transformer I offer him, even if it doesn't fit our play pattern.

Ultra Magnus is a cool design (I never got the Standard One), but I just don't have room for every toy in the line, which is why i limit them to only a few.

I bought mine yesterday and was very happy with him. Same here, I never bought the original UM that came out in the line, so this one is a good alternative for me.

Well, yeah, that is why I specified his normal mode. If you want to connect, you have to modify his "standard" base mode. Or just snag a Soundbarrier or other future ramp-bot

Found the Netflix Deluxe and the Spoiler set (4 or 5 of them) at Walmart this morning. It's a little troubling, though. The Deluxes appear to be taking the spot where Earthrise Deluxes should be. I thought once they cleared out the reissue tapes they'd replace them with ER Micromasters and where any Siege figures were would be replaced with ER Leaders, Deluxe, and Voyagers. I should have taken a picture, but from memory going left to right across the pegs are now one step Cyberverse, Cyberverse Warriors, Netflix Deluxe (where the reissue tapes were), Cyberverse Deluxe (where Siege was, never seen these outside Target), and Studio Series Deluxe. I thought the Netflix Deluxes would go on the shelf where reissue Soundwave is/was, but they're just there on the pegs. The Spoiler box is taking the place of Pokemon card sets or something. It's really just more Walmart shenanigans.

I went through 3 Walmarts recently and the only time I ever saw the Netflixformers were at only one. They only had ONE Hotlink and ONE Megs. I never saw the "spoiler" nor any deluxes.

Are the deluxes more expensive than regular ones like for the voyager sets?

At least in the US, no, because they don't have anything extra.

Good. Should be the same in Canada.
If it's ever possible, I'd love to triple dip in that sexy Refelctor. I'd also won't mind "Dirty Gay" Mirage because I never got to buy the original.

They have more paint, but they're just repaints of figures that have already paid for their molds many times over so a line used specifically for advertising should be able to afford the extra 0.035oz of paint.

Emerje

I have no idea what the paint weighs, I just converted a gram to an ounce.

Well, Megatron is basically "PREMIUM" Megatron. The one with the right paintjob.

Hotlink is a must though. Sexiest paint job and if you don't want to pay stupid price for the Skywarp set, he's the perfect Skywarp stand-in.

Having a "classic" looking Megatron have nothing to do about being "geewun". The "true geewun" folks would get Toyworld Hegemon or another voyager "g1" looking Megs that change into a gun, not a tank.

Having a classic "g1" Megs in the display with all the other "g1" looking recent trilogies is the way to go. Titan Return, or Siege. Because having let's say, Prime Megatron in a Siege display would look pretty goofy.

Still, what Megatron do you have so that he's the only one that need to be in your collection? This must be the "ultimate" and "definitive" Megatron for you.

I think I get the gist of what you said.
Well, I personally don't think Siege Megs is a really nice mold to begin with. So I too won't double-dip with the Netflix version because I already have the Siege one.

I may sound like a heretic but for me, the best "G1" Generations Megatron remain the Combiner Wars leader.

If we're talking about Megatrons, I still like Toyworld's Hegemon the best.

CW Leader Megs is great, but way too large for my tastes. Siege is great. Netflix is better. But, yeah, not enough to double dip for me either. Megatron was everywhere, so I wonder how well the Netflix version is actually selling.
