Depending on what mainline.
Vietnam-like flashbacks about Revenge of the Fallen.

I could finally try out Siege Starscream. At first, I was dismissive of the toy for being a shellformer with a bot folded underneath. But then, I was impressed by the clever tricks this thing does. Most impressive being the spring-loaded leg fillers that they added instead of leaving the back hollow. there there the long nosecone of the ship that cleverly become the iconic shoulder pilons. Only flaw is that annoying detachable chest part.

Overall, Siege Starscream is a must for any seeker fan! Looking forward Thundercracker.

Oh right, I get it now. Like wanting more complexity period, regardless of size. I can see that and I agree with it. We do have some gems in the mainlines though, like both Siege Prime and Studio Series Bumblebee Prime are rather impressive in terms of their complexity for the price you are paying.

You can say that again!
I've yet to find a single stinker in the whole line.

Also, I played with Soundwave and his minions for the first time and they are AMAZING! Sure, they are more expensive now, but the details and paint are Takara Henkei levels. I'm pretty glad that we no longer have to import the "superior" Takara versions.

I hope the Hot Shot one is true because then I'd be able to add an Hot Shot to my collection with a design that is radically different from Bumblebee, who he replaced (well, he also replaced Cheetor and Hot Rod too!) at a time and latter got replaced by.

The original Cybertron Defense Hot Shot isn't too bad on eBay, although it can be hard to find one that has both gunbarrel tips and both bumper pieces. Especially the barrel tips.

Now to attend to another matter... Everybody, please repeat after me:

I've known about the Hot Shot speculation ever since Hound's box art with Hot Shot's head was revealed, but I only now really thought about what the Siege Hound mold would look like in Cybertron Hot Shot's colors, and now I am HYPE for it. I cannot wait for it to be revealed.

Hey, so I was thinking, there are two Autobot Weaponizers and one Decepticon. HasTak could make another Decepticon with Torq III's face and colours. As far as I know there are no figures representing him. And the machines he utilised in the episode kind of remind me of the stuff you can build from the Weaponizers.

Torq III's a bit niche, especially when we could be getting a Weaponiser Fasttrack.

So, someone's scooped up all the Refraktors in the Knoxville area (and going by the number of Hounds it was a LOT of Refraktors), but I did get Brunt yesterday. Have been a tad disappointed, largely because his head broke the first time I transformed him.

True that Megatron is not that great, but is no way a "bad" toy. Ravage only need a tail to be perfect. Other than that, I'm blown away by the line so far. The Minions are super nice and well worth the full price.

Starscream is amazing. It's only flaw is that the chest part dont have a pin. There. I said it. That chest part is a partformer piece that will go all "G1 Doubledealer" in the future. Still, Starscream is overall way too good for that chest piece to be a dealbreaker.

Soundwave is also amazing. The ship is simple yet clever. My only complains for him is the hollow forearms in bot mode. Plus the useless extra gray gun. Why that gun? They could have used that plastic budjet for forearms panels. Still, that Soundwave kick major ass.

I like the idea of Hotshot, don't understand why to repaint another Impactor...into impactor!.....A new full camera from Refraktor? I'm not sure about this...I mena....if they get all the same colors of G1 toy...no thanks... More curious about the new the name of the next line of figures in the Generations War For Cybertron line. New Titan Class figure revealed. New Commander Class reveal, and new Leader Class reveal. This is hinted to be a car or armored car.

Iconic? That really rules out Tor III then. And Brunt is iconic now because of his Siege figure. Fasttack, who already has a bot-mode (unlike G1 Brunt!), is more than deserving of the weaponiser treatment.

I was gonna skip the Siege Seekers; heck, I just got Generations Thrust to complete my collection of all seven mass market Classics mold Seekers; but I don't know now. I assumed from the start of Siege that we wouldn't be getting the Coneheads since Hasbro releasing the same Voyager mold six times seemed unlikely, but if we do indeed end up getting FOUR of the esoteric background characters as repaints alongside the original trio, the Coneheads don't actually seem all that unlikely. For those who have the mold, would it be feasible to remold it with a Conehead head?
