For those who have the mold, would it be feasible to remold it with a Conehead head?

Yes, the head just folds into the body cavity and the backpack covers it up, it should be easy to remold at least the head into that of a conehead, tho it does end up very near an arm hinge, so a slight cut-out to the back of the cone may be necessary ;)^

I finally cut down the back of Flywheels/Skytread's gun, it was easy and now it fits famously in tank mode. It doesn't detract from any other mode or function.

Dogfight was available, and was glad to join the team ;) 8-)

Siege Chromia has filled that spot for me. She serves as the chest piece, using the reversed torso config for Elita-1

Interesting. Hmm. I'm still leaning towards no I think. While having bigger Seekers would be cool, getting all of them would be freaking expensive and they would only be replacing existing stuff on my shelf rather than adding to it. Not enough value provided to justify the likely rather high price tag.

The thing with Seekers though is if I get one, I'll have to get them all. Just one seems... off; especially if displayed alongside my seven Classics dudes.

And? They don't come out at the same time so it's not like if you'll have to buy them all at once. Some WILL be expensive "special edition" though. But if you're a dedicated seeker fan, the Siege mold is SO worth getting.

They pulled off the "earth robot turning into the freaking Cybertronian mode" thing! At the normal retail price! That's one hell of a tour-de-force. You shouldn't miss out the bots as they come out. Because when the only ones available would be on Ebay and such, then it will be truly expensive and even harder to complete.

The Siege mold is no Power of the Prime combiner nonsense. The iconic trio is more than confirmed and the oddballs are already beginning. If those seeker sell like hotcakes, they WILL find a way to make the coneheads.

So, just go for it!

Man I can't wait for the reveals for next line. Especially Battlemasters since I bought some spare ones for repainting but I need to wait to know if Battlemasters are sticking around for the trilogy and, if so, which of the G1 Targetmaster characters are coming back.

This week I got my required 3 Refraktors. They were promptly joined in camera mode. Now the camera sits on the shelf on its tripod. I'm very tempted to get a 4th Refraktor to stand behind it, making it look like he's taking pictures.

By the way what I mean is that, assuming a design similar to their Legends counterpart (but with less paint and articulation) I could easily see these three Targetmasters being all retool of each others in the same colors. Possibly even sharing engineering with the Caliburst or Firedrive mold, if not just being total retools.

Edit: Unless Trenchfoot is just one of these guys given a new name.

I realize this is a pipe dream, but I would hope that future Battlemaster molds will avoid copying the partial-donkey'd Legends Targetmasters.

You mean, the Targetmaster having a peg this long? At worst, you could always trim it down a bit.

Why? Because their gun modes all transform the same and not a one is accurate to the original. The only one who comes close is Haywire and his barrel is still on the wrong end relative to his legs. Also, where the crap they got those shoulder details for Aimless from is beyond me.
I would rather have cheaper readily-available versions of the Targetmasters that actually get their unique gun modes right, instead of partial-donkey'd ones that all transform the same.

-Kanrabat- wrote:You mean, the Targetmaster having a peg this long? At worst, you could always trim it down a bit.

No, I mean the fact that the Targetmaster pegs can fit onto Titan Master pegs.

Staaaaaaaaaaaare...............

Oh.
OOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..................

Well, that's original.
Honestly, that's a very nice option. It give versatility. However, the toy meant for a Targetmaster should have a proper 5mm peg hole where the TM should properly plug in.

Had I been more of a 'serious' collector when TR was around I would, in hindsight, absolutely gone for the Legends version of most Titans Return figures. However back then I was just getting back into it and was quite happy to just hunt down figures that interested me in stores.
