Yeah, right now, Cyberverse has not only Slipstream but Clobber and Lockdown.

Though, despite Slipstream being a high-ranking Seeker, Clobber and Lockdown have been officially labeled as Megatron's "most worthless foot soldiers", a label that the two even grin about.

Yep, the two most purely Animated-inspired characters in Cyberverse are reduced to a bumbling comic relief duo of inept Decepticons who get pushed around by everyone else, can barely do their jobs right, and hardly have any real motivation in this war (Their capture of Hot Rod was just a happy accident). >:oP

This reminds me of that bit in the Robots in Disguise comic where the autobots find the corpse of a Decepticon that turned into a ship and have to manually transform him to escape in it.

That was in Lost Light actually

Same difference.

That's ok my first thought was... *I didn't think there was a RiD Comic (recalling BW won the vote in Dreamwaves contest between BW & RiD for a comic that never came to fruition)...then I remembered there was a short lived RiD15 comic, but didn't remember a dead giant Decepticon. That other thing, didn't even register ;)

I definitely do NOT need an Animated Omega Supreme, Hasbro made the one I want, and it is amazing. If however down the line they do create such a thing I'll be happy for those who want it. I want others to be as happy as I am now.

Lastly though, and a bit concerning, Emgo's review was the only one I've seen online that addressed the "Titans Return" base compatibility issue. He claims (shows in video) the ramps are in fact NOT compatible with TR bases. If true, this will definitely not put me off getting Omega, but I wonder why Warden & Co. would make such a claim if not true? Also it will definitely change my mind about getting Astrotrain. It seems he may have some compatibility with Omega, but not with any TR bases. I'm hoping Emgo himself just didn't fully understand or was trying to hook them up incorrectly.

Anyone else have solid proof the base modes can actually connect? I'd love for it to be true

Perfect Thank You. I don't come here on the weekends, but I do try to check up on what I missed, this one just slipped past. Thanks again. That is pretty much what I expected, and, that is why I don't do toy reviews on Youtube (well that and I don't have professional level A/V equipment). I'd want to thoroughly research each item and by the time I did, everyone else being in a rush to be *first* most likely wouldn't see it anyway...

...and time... Working full time, and a family. I can spare a few minuets here & there at work to post some comments, that's about it. ;)

As Sabr pointed out a few pages back, Omega is compatible with TR, and with Siege Astrotrain, but there are 2 different types of connectors and connections points. So far, it looks like Astrotrain only has this newer type of connector and will only connect to OS (and possibly future toys).

For the TR connections, those all connect directly to the track (see photo) and there are 2 connection points one on each track piece. There are 4 of the newer connection points. 2 of them are black flip out connectors on the track portions of the legs. The other 2 are on the end of the ramps, but appear to be completely useless based on where they are located inside the track. I flipped one up to show the connection end a little better in my photo.

I messed up. For some reason, I confused the two post Death of Optimus Prime comics. I meant to write MTMTE, which is where I thought the dead spaceship decepticon was (what was his name again?).

But, to answer your question, there was an RID comic and it lasted for 57 issues and was relaunched as the Optimus Prime comic later.

https://tfwiki.net/wiki/The_Transformer ... n_Disguise

I short, I meant to write MTMTE, but wrote RID, but it turns out it was in LL and not MTMTE anyway. But LL and MTMTE are the same difference (hence my joke which fell flat).

Are we all caught up? Because if people are confused, I could start the power point presentation I have.

I think the best way to describe it is, the outer parameter of the track has TR connections, whereas track-to-track, or track-to-base are the newer Siege ones. They also have a couple of these connected to the launching platform on OS. All these newer ones will also work with Astrotrain, if I am understanding what I'm seeing.

There are only two TR connector ports on the track's outer ring, each located in the middle of the curve. The rest of the connector ports on the outside of the track are the new type.

OK, makes sense. I understood from the pics there were only 2 TR compatible connections on the tracks exterior, I was unaware there were additional newer Siege ones as well.

I’m looking to pick up the later revision of Siege Starscream, the one with the less flimsy chest piece and the correct G1 Decepticon symbols (as opposed to the live action movie styled ones on the Wave 2 release). What production code stamp should I look for, as it’s hard to tell if the chest flap is tight or the Decepticon symbols right when the figure is in package.

I’ve taken a chance and bought a Starscream with a 91441 batch code imprint. The other one on the shelf had a code tampographed, not pressed into the cardboard, with a lower batch number. I won’t know if I’ve got a fixed version until I get home from work later.

It'd be like putting Bayverse Prime into the standard Generations line. Though, if they toned the chins down, it might work ;)^

I can agree with this. animated was so good, we need more of it!

As someone with the original version, I can say that at least for my copy, once you have the transformation down, it is actually pretty easy to transform mine without having the chest panel pop off. Mine did originally the first few times I transformed him both from bot to tetrajet and back. But it hasn't popped off in the last few months despite me transforming him quote often.

So if you do end up with one of the original/looser ones, it may not be that bad for you.

Weapon: Retractable Mecha-Fangs
I'm happy to report that my 91441 Starscream is, in fact, one of the later revisions with the chest and tampographs fixes! The chest piece didn't even come loose from the hinges during transformation to tetrajet mode and back to robot mode. The Decepticon symbols have the correct triangular G1 eyes instead of the quadrilateral ones from the live action move. Now, what to do with my earlier run Starscream?

Closest things we've had to Animated since it ended are that new Lugnut in Cyberverse and Thrilling 30 Blitzwing, and no one can tell me that it wasn't just Animated Blitzwing in G1 colors  Though, I will say that Animated would be hard to incorporate cohesively into current lines due to it having such a distinct style. It'd be like putting Bayverse Prime into the standard Generations line. Though, if they toned the chins down, it might work ;)^

I can agree with this. animated was so good, we need more of it!

I'll take WFC Lugnut, Lockdown and Bulkhead any day!
