Color me unsurprised.
I know, right? A toy that we get to actually play with ourselves instead of the toy doing the play work by itself. Imagine that.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:There already has been.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I wonder... Thing is, the arguments against the lack of a motorized gimmick basically boil down to "You mean I have to actually push Omega's tank on his track by myself? I'm a grown man! I'd look so silly doing that! I want my toys to play out their features FOR me, not have ME play with them myself!"Sentinel_Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I know, right? I mean, I can see the argument for wanting motors for display. That said, motorized toys seem to hate me so I'm glad that Omega doesn't have any motorized gimmicks![]()

Though, Nautica did get carried over into the new comics, but yeah, that was on IDW's part rather than Hasbro's, so another toy of her isn't likely either.Skritz wrote:Original IDW is over and Hasbro turned the page on that chapter. The odds of getting an IDW 2005-only character are basically 0% right now. Give it to 10-15 years for nostalgia to set in and get maybe a single figure in whatever Generations will have become by that point.

What I mean is, her presence in the new comics isn't tied to any forthcoming Hasbro toy, as her design was a product of the artist making it up from aspects of both her IDW1 design and her Titans Return toy.Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Though, Nautica did get carried over into the new comics, but yeah, that was on IDW's part rather than Hasbro's, so another toy of her isn't likely either.Skritz wrote:Original IDW is over and Hasbro turned the page on that chapter. I wouldn't say that, now that we have selects we can get more niche characters, just need some patience for the line to get broken in

Metroplex last came out in 2013, not counting the overpriced limited run Tamara reissue last year. It goes for around $500 on the secondary market. I can't be alone in wanting a Metroplex reissue or even a new mold before going to the deep bench.
I frequently see comments like, "We already got X, make a SG version of some obscure Japanese character instead!" I mean, not all of us "got" all those guys the first time around. I've only begun collecting again since Titans Return, but I'm in deep now.

While you do make a good point (I.e. The availability of the older Titans) its a tightrope act for Hasbro as they have to balance the wants of the collectors who they know will already have the character, the wants of the newer collectors/collectors who missed the first time, and of course kids who just want kick ass toys.
Personally I'd rather new over old as there's only so many times you can do the old characters
