Certain TFWiki contributors are really good at taking parts of pictures out of context. See the claim that LG-EX black convoy's stock photo/packaging shows silver painted forearms (it's just camera flash, he has really shiny plastic in that area). I'd agree with Va'al's opinion that that's just bad lighting on soundwave rather than something even powdered concrete regarding soundblaster, but wouldn't discount the possibility for the future, especially from takara.
The worst one i saw from tfwiki was the claim that Movie the Best Soundwave came with a missile (while he had no gun to fire it from). For months i thought i had thrown it away by mistake but in reality he came with no accessories.
Cool, could you correct what we are talking about then?

Interestiny enough, Brunts design is not original. It is Don Figuera's design of the droids in Stormbringer down to almost every detail of the robot mode.

That's what I thought he was based off of, I for one, am always down for some stormbringer love, that makes 3 stormbringer figures now

Who needs hands when you have CLAWS?
Although this would be retooled into Strika, because why not?![]()

What we do know is that he'll have some Cybertronian writing on him instead of "Police" and/or "Highway Patrol." We know that's happening with Red Alert as well because of the promotional shots of his 3D render. His Cybertronian glyphs probably read "Fire Chief" or "Fire Department" or something. Anyway, I wonder if Hasbro is thoughtful enough to include a few stickers with such figures to cover up the Cybertronian script with traditional English "Police" and "Fire Chief" signage.

I would buy all of those over Sideswipe if they did that. I dont want a sideswip ewithout a Sunstreaker, but the others, hell yeahSkritz wrote:Know what would be an interesting thing to see? One of the more obscure Sideswipe redeco: Clamp Down, Deep Cover or Tigertrack. Unlikely but it would be pretty cool nonetheless.

What about Combiner Wars or Unite Warriors Sunstreaker? That's who I'll be pairing with Siege Sideswipe. The two Lambo Bros. are supposed to look very different in robot mode.

The design is that it's a way different. And to be honest, I really don't like the combiner wars sunstreaker figure anyway. If we got in the Jazz mold repainted as Sideswipe, I might be more open to that idea, but it's just going to take a lot for me to want to replace the Classics/Generations versions of the characters with a mismatch-ed set. With Hasbro's G1 accurate bot mode directive doubt a repaint would happen and I dont think a front-to-back flip of the mold is possible or even desirable.
I do like the dun Sideswip has though. And I might get Red so I can experience the mold

Was all that confirmed at the panel? I know people were speculating about Omega turning into Countdown's rocket base, but I didn't think that was confirmed anywhere, and I didn't think we got anything official regarding Red Alert outside of that Brunt picture. I guess a case could be made that Red Alert has to be in Wave 2 for him to be in Brunt's advertising, but the rest of that just seems like wild claims unless I've missed something.
