Transformers: Animated's website has just been updated with images of the upcoming Soundwave figure. There are 13 pictures in total showing Soundwave in both vehicle and robot mode with Laserbeak.

TFA.com states that the images were taken from multiple websites, so we will not be able to link them for you to see them here on Seibertron.com

i like the figure its a little weird seeing transformer using guitar as a weapon i know it goes well with the theme of soundwave but it just doesnt look right for him.

maybe they will be another soundwave figure coming out sometime instaed of the toy company always doing there favorite making repaints and calling the figure someone differnt into a cassteplayer

I've been thinking about the guitar weapon. I was thinking about who else uses a guitar for a weapon and could only come up with two answers:

First one, the pilot in "Silverhawks". I can't remember his name. The second is Valahallan from the Justice Friends on "Dexter's Laboratory"...

On the other hand, it is really a creative idea and makes sense: if his weapon is bad sound, what makes worse sounds than an electric guitar? :grin:

Did I mention I'm a keyboard player? B-)

Robot anime (kinda) people, you should watch.

anyways i like him but i do have a problem with that piece that goes over his head to be the back end of the car, when you reveal his head it has that really bad looking hole idk it just looks cheaply made, thin plastic and all. Anyone else feel that way?

Here you go First Aid, no google, no Wiki, I actually pulled this nugget out of the near endless supply of useless crap floating around in my head...Bluegrass! That's the SilverHawks characters name. And I'm glad to see that Valhallan was brought up cause when I looked at the pictures my first thought was "Sweet, Laserbeak is Soundwaves "Axe". Valhallan was the first character to come to mind when I saw the guitar shape. Being a metalhead, I'll buy this figure on general principle alone and my kids aren't touching it. I may actually buy two and give one the "Heavy Metal" treatment with some black paint, spikes and tiny chains. Better yet, get one of those tiny "Harley Davidson" bears with the leather jacket, chop the sleeves off, tack it on Soundwave and paint the Decpticon logo on the back of the jacket. It'll be the "Bruce Dickinson" of Transformers. :grin:

Yeah I'll be picking up two of these guys. One to paint the faceplate silver, & the other to Kitbash into Soundblaster & Buzzsaw. I LOVE this line. As long as we get Thundercracker too, I'm good.

you know i am really looking forward to the new soundwave. its nice that they try to keep him g1 accurate while also throwing a little spin n him with the whole car alt mode. Now laserbeak is a guitar, i wonder if others like rumble and ravage will show up and what would they be.
