Now, I saw in one of the reviews about how hard it is to pull the fists out. I agree. (This is similar to the Aurora Weapon Folding issue I talked about there, but easier to deal with.) A weird thing happened when I opened mine. One fist was 180 degrees rotated from the other one. This meant that I could use the "baton/silencer/scope" attachment to pull that fist out. I don't know why, but that attachment fits in the bottom of the fist much, much better than the top. So, I recommend when transforming him that you turn the fists around before storing them. (The other one required my extreme scratching paperclip tool from Aurora to pull out the fist.) Here's a pic:
Outside of the fist opening saga, I absolutely love this guy! I'm glad I got him. Now, FP, bring me more of the others!!

thanks for the comparison pics Agamemnon, Boner is a bit big compared to Chromedome, but I like that their heads are the of similar size.

It depends on how I look at it, really. The alt mode of Hardbone has the more G1 homage feel and look, but then again, the colors of Universe Hardhead and the look of Head Robots hot head in bot mode do the same for me. Now if Hardbone could get the colors of Hardhead with Hot Head to go with him, it would be perfect! I can say this much- I do like Hot Head better than the Headmaster that came with Hardbone....
